That is a cracking set up 👍
Thank you! Hope ya follow along on my first run in these bags the mothers of all of these were phenomenal, but I wanna get down to 2 mothers so that’s why this run will pick the winner of the 2, but #3 is in the lead from the last run but I think #2 didn’t get a fair shake due to me being sick and not being able to actually take care of her and right at week 3 of flower to week 5ish, so this time same tent same soil same bags same moisture to top and lower root zones, let see who wins, only variable is the lights, #2 is to the left and she’s under a mars hydro FC-E8000 and on the right is the #3 under a FD6500 both tuned to be giving 450ppfd to the tops each

The fpj is more for the plants than the soil. However the sugars in it will stimulate microbe growth. I like the aloe fpj during veg to help root growth. During flower cantaloupe fpj is a huge potassium source.
Nice! I gotta start a research journal / recipe book haha

Well welcome to the farm! Gald you decided to join me along in my grow!

Yeah I was already doing “traditional” organic already, this jump to living soil.. I kinda just went all out haha

I do some synthetic runs too I don’t hate 🤣 I’m sure they will be by far more than between now, my veggie garden will be around soon (I have a few seasons posted around here in my other topics) that’s all organic as well, built from scratch 40x60 garden

But as for this run, Once I find something I like, like these 3 are my keepers, one of the 2 kahunas will take the prize as the new permenant kahuna mother, the other will be culled off.
You dont get tired of smoking something after a while? Mimosa was my favorite. I burnt that shit out.

I almost grabbed some from Blimburn but then... realized... has to be white label from there. Who has legit Mimosa out there?

Oh I can lol I but I’m not too worried I like to let the environment stay consistant. Let them grow into the lights I mean I could drop the lights down to 16” and drop it to 200 w but it’s all good, I already have a PL1000 unused in the 2x2 but I may pick up 2x SE1000’s eventually just to run the cover crop over each bag between cycles and during early veg, wouldent even haven’t o remove the big lights just run the smaller ones hanging through the big ones then remove em when I start up the larger lights
Plus to pull them big boys out and back in again.. I'd just leave them too. 😜

It was around like crazy for awhile. You could get a good cut at most dispensary. Now hardly anyone sells clones and the ones that do have so many bugs. I haven’t grown it for about 4 years now. But royal queen sells them.

Week 1 from the minute after they were transplanted into the bags TIME LAPSE 😜

Pics are of both kahunas

My Apple fritter and Trop cookies purple are from @RoyalQueenSeeds both are great smoke!

Damn! I love watching them dance. Great work, Mike.
Thank you! They are definitely happy in their new pots! Can’t wait to see them explode, they’ll be topped soon as well.

Damn did a light watering yesterday morning, doubled up on #1 as she was a bit drier and damn did they ever even out!

The 4x4 is it’s own environment so I expect it to utilize moisture differently then the 4x8 pots which I hope to keep very close

Home from work, best part of veg… lights are always on 🤣… well minus 4 hours

More plans in the works…. We shall see!

I did get a delivery of uncle Jim’s worms
Earthworms 100 count

Couldn’t have been worse timing, at work, worms get delivered… fuckin blizzard out 40-50mph winds heavy snow heavy drifting.. they are on my neighbors porch 🙃

I Call the wife and tell her and she runs over and gets em but they were out there for a few hours probably and temp is 5f with a -10g windchill…but… I think it was to late

Some are alive in the bag some aren’t or they are really on their last leg.. my own dumbass duly knew that the low low temps were coming and ordered em anyways, I set the bag in the 4x8 on the soil and spritzed with some room temp water from my spray bottle, figured let ‘em twarm overnight and I’ll check em out tomorrow and see if they perked up

Besides that the plants look happy and already have 35 red wigglers in each pot, I’ll reorder the worms if they don’t perk up

Weird that they didnt deliver them in a insulated box.hopefully they survive!
Nah they always ship them on a box with holes poked in it, they ship in dry peat moss to try and avoid freezing, the bag is wrapped in layers of paper then boxed, I got them in the cold last time and they were fine but I think -10f on a porch for a few hours was too much, this morning I poured them all into a. Small container moistened more and set them on top of the light bars to warm up I see some moving but some obvious dead, I’ll wait a few hours till after my haircut then sort through and see how many are actually alive

Guys at DFG turned me on to what they use by way of EWC. Seems to be bang for your buck stuff. Up there with what BAS offers as far as quality goes. On Amazon.
