In the absence of scrogging most folks do the opposite of a trellis and bend branches down to keep them away from the light. I mean that's kind of what your LST is supposed to do, keep your plants low enough that they don't need to be propped up.

Dude I hate trellis it is a pain to get out of the plants after. I make a frame out of pvc and hang it with ratchets. Lace string back and forth. That way when the plants are done I cut the strings and pull them straight out.

A trellis is a handy tool to achieve a particular plant shape: low and wide. Mine goes in when I flip to flower. I position it about an inch above the tops, and move the tops out wider and wider as they grow...basically absorbing the stretch. I cut slots in 4-way corners so the trellis can snap onto the tent poles.

What size are those pvc pipes? What tent do you have?
I have vivosun 2.5x2.5. I like this idea.
