I did not realize just how important temp and humidity is..Ill remember that the 3 E's lol.

Im not sure exactly what you mean about the co2 bag doing nothing. At the moment my intake fan is bringing (slightly cooler than the inside of the tent) air in through the top of the tent, presumably mixing with the c02 before it is gently pushed out the bottom of the tent through a light proof opening I rigged up which I assumed would be a similar system if done properly instead of my ghetto rig. Intake and exhaust right? My intake is on almost the lowest setting so the air is not passing through like a hurricane. Ill probably get the answer to that when I start studying how to get my temp and humidity under control.

I never thought of that. The pheno hunting sounds very appealing to me expecially since my next run will be with Bruce Banner seeds which I read somewhere that 1/25 have some rare Hulk phenotype. No idea if its true or not. I only have one tent at the moment. Its an expensive hobby lol

I am using a 4x4 tent with two SF 1000'S and a SF 2000, fox farm soil and nutes, AC infinity intake fan, i let the slight pressure exhaust the air on its own, H02 spore bag, topping, and training with a trellis net, 10 gallon fabric pots, seeds from ilgm. Little to no humidity or temperature control.

What can I do differently or improve upon to get that bag appeal look and smell to my buds? I was looking through the 'frostiest nugs' board on here and even most of those don't look anywhere near as frosty as the dispensory weed. So whats the secret?

Perspective: I'm on my 30th year "in an attempt to grow top notch bud with minimal expense and effort!"

Unless you're gifted, it is a marathon, not a sprint. Be observant, make notes, read, learn, plan, and execute, evaluate, and adapt. Then repeat.

Lots of puzzle pieces that must fit just right to be super good at this! Not difficult, but we can't slack on any one thing.

Quality and yield will both improve with experience. Genetics plays into it, too. I know people swear by some of the white label seed companies, but if you're trying to grow top shelf stuff, I'd be sourcing from breeders.

I was gonna say the same. I would go direct and cut out ppl like ILGM. Not saying they're bad but you can definitely get better, known, genetics.

And also as others have said, dial that environment in and you're over halfway there

And if there is one or a few pieces of trim that you missed so it doesn't look perfect so they automatically think it's shit weed, before even giving it a try some of the best bud I've ever smoked looked nothing like dispensary bud

Just a lil effort a decent light some decent nutrients and the right genetics this is my first ever grow I harvested one auto outa my first run and getting ready to harvest my photo and the other auto and every bit of it is gonna be better than anything I got from the dispensary the key is listen to advice when given as long as it's good advice from a good source " guys in here" , Patience, less is more, in total I may have $200 in my complete setup light tent fans carbon filter soil nutrients I started this very grow in a 28x28 mylar blabket tent with a 26 watt Walmart grow light moved up to a $50 bloomplus xp1500 and thats all u need man get urbplant veged wherevu want it make sure its healthy flip and just feed the thing honestly its not as hard as i was making ot out to be most of its common sense if she looks hungry feed her if she looks like ur giving her to much light adjust the light ask questions thats key this is 100% my first ever photoperiod plant n id bet my house deed its gonna be better than anything the dispensaries here in my town have
Cinderella man x okie by way of @Thatoneguyyouknow_ from cptspalding/trustfall and gorilla pie auto from smoking monkey genetics the fella at smoking monkey was impressed with my first ever plant I grew he now uses it on his sales page for his seeds if u think ur doing something wrong just ask these fellas here especially the ones i mentioned are great and will help anyway they can the main thing is Patience and the right genetics and always keep everything wrote down your mistakes how u fixed it nutrient schedule if u had any issues the less is more thing is def the key i had a camn near flawless run with this photo besides one real hard feed thatbroadted her tips second week or third of flower

Really i'm curious what the exact reasons are for my bud not looking anywhere near show quality. Experience I believe you when you say that but I don't think thats the only reason.

if you buds taste good and get you high i wouldn't care that much how they look, that could vary widely from one phenotype to another.

Commerical weed could result from a pheno hunt wich will surely look better than your average random pheno or sometime it's been grown with the use of PGR ...

Obviously for the bag appeal if it do t look good it must not be good ? I can look like that old brick weed if she bakes me I want her lol

Yeah and they finally sell grove bags near me now so that's my next thing to try out
