For a cover crop add mustard if you haven’t yet and you’ll have a constant bio fumigation
I had picked up some of the Klondike last year thinking I could just plant and reap the fumigation properties. But alas, after doing some research found out you need to mow down the mustard and roll (compact ) into the soil for the mustard fumigation to work in the soil.

I don’t think they have really hit there vigorous growth. The next couple weeks they are going to take off. Look how much healthier they look now.
Oh for sure, still planing to top again and I don’t expect it to slow em down much I have an average plant size I aim for, I’m not trying to go larger than that lol

Kinda a good idea of what I’m looking for

These were in 12 gallon fabric pots that’s a Frostette #6 actually, and a cali blues behind it

That’s the plan with the clover as well so it’ll blend well I plan to run continuous cycles and top dress with build a flower, straw, maybe rice hulls, some sprouted barley, was gunna pick up kashi blend and kashi blend bloom too

Grind the seeds into a powder and add to the top of your soil and chop and drop the plant and work that into the soil. it should help control a variety of pests. The mustard seed meal really helped take out a fungus gnat population that was becoming a nuisance for me.

How do you like the fish shit?
Been using it for awhile, first time in these pots but the plants seem to respond well with it in, it did great in my 12 gallon pot runs with vs without on same clones plants that had it were healthier through the run vs those that diddnt get it

Right on, I appreciate it! It’s mostly a microbe inoculant with no npk right?

Gunna pick some up I do have some other seed, microgreen seeds like Red Choi, red gruner pulsane, spicy mustard broccoli (very similar to clover when full from at about 3” high

Have mustard green seeds too, quite pricey seed to be using for cover crop but hell… if I just grow that I can eat it too 🤣

They are quite fun to grow as well… and quite tasty, the whole family prefers the broccoli over any lettuce, even my 6 year old… he comes down and just takes them fresh right outta the trey and walks around eating them haha, and I dump the used peat and bottom of stems etc into the no till beds

Those look really healthy, they’ll definitely fill that tent. What are you running?
The soil is one part peat one part compost one part pumice. I added about 5 lbs of basalt a bunch of craft blend a bunch of bio char. Then I built my horizon 2” of rock and sand in the bottom of the pot then 2 parts my soil 1/2 part silt 1/2 part clay 5” thick then 10” soil in the top.

Is the fish shit like fish amino acids? I’ve never used it
Just a microbe inoculant and soil conditioner really, I use it early to build up the microbe population, I use it at about 2-3ml per gallon and I’ll use it for 3-4 times to build up the population then I might use it once a month just as a top up

My 15 gallons are almost ready to flip. I think Sunday will be the day. Want the tent to be filled
Looking nice and healthy! Gunna be some nice full screens!
