Cool stuff! I did something similar, only aeroponics instead of dwc (before transplanting to rdwc). I used RQS soilplugs to pop the beans in, and goes into the netcup. It is the same idea as rapid rooters and it provides everything the seedling needs. No dirt in your res, and more oxygen for the roots since the medium is a lot less dense then earth.

Here we r at 11days time for some food and a move to 3 gallon buckets I have a fruit by the foot and strawberry banana in general hydroponics and the same in lotus nutrients to see how they compare everybody has their own buckets no reservoir I change water every week we'll see how it goes

Following along! So far you're doing great!!
I would love to do a big room of all buckets, they just look so cool and the growth is tight!!

Glad I found your grow diary. I love the DIY style and this is inspiring me to try DWC, which I've always wanted to do.

I was in dirt for a little bit but heard about dwc thought I'd give it a try and my yields have at least doubled so it wasn't no brainer and it's really rather easy

Now I feel like a fish on a hook! 😁 I think I'm going to rig up 2 individual DWC buckets and give it a go. I have everything on hand except net pots and hydroton, and I have some recyclables that may do the job of the net pots with little modification. I can put my air pump and stones back into service now!

Thank you, sir!

Time to get the new exhaust system up we're going to see if it will suck enough air for my 4x8 and my 4x4 I'm going to try to exhaust two tents with one fan 424 CFM should do the trick

I like to start my pH on the low side because it seems to go up as my water temperature goes up
