Wow. So with that logic this is exactly when you would top it. Perfect thanksI top for the first time above the second 5-fingered node, when the growth sites in the shoulders of that node are at least a millimeter long. So...yes.
That's just how I do it. Plant training is more more art than science, and there are lots of ways to do it successfully.Wow. So with that logic this is exactly when you would top it. Perfect thanks
Many growers would top that plant, but when to top depends on what you want to do with the plant and the phenotype of the plant. The height of the tent matters, too (presuming it's in a tent). That plant looks like it wants to grow tall, so topping it should keep it from growing too tall. Sativa phenotypes might need to be topped more than once.Do you think she's ready for topping?
It's a photo. Special kush. I grew these last year and they barely got over a foot tall so my thought was maybe I topped them too early so I didn't want to make the same mistake. But then maybe they just don't get real tall.Photo or Auto?
I find height is easy to achieve if you start the flower transition while you have explosive growth. Give her enough time to recover after topping. Let her begin bushing out before your transition. Doing the opposite is also helpful if you have a stretchy strain or limited space. It's a photo. Special kush. Exactly, know what you want in the end and start training. Hell my first topping on clones is about 18 days cutThat's just how I do it. Plant training is more more art than science, and there are lots of ways to do it successfully.
No kidding?! So many roads to get ya thereExactly, know what you want in the end and start training. Hell my first topping on clones is about 18 days cut
And when choosing which road to travel, choose wisely. No kidding?! So many roads to get ya there![]()
