Growing 2 of the same strain. One is pretty much done in less than 8 weeks after flip, and the other looks like it may have 2 weeks left. The one that's done is 6 days younger but has developed faster the entire grow.

Why they gotta be like this. I was really hoping to chop them both at once and hang in the tent but noooo...

it's a great day here. I trimmed my grow after dry and now it's curing. i kept some small stuff out and put some in my hookah pipe and man is it kicking my butt. nice tune.

Anyone know what’s in this or use it? The avalanche? I have read people saying it’s organic. The bottle doesn’t have any ingredients. Found an older thread on this forum with a California cancer warning and someone saying it’s poison. My bottle doesn’t have that warning. Has the same aafpco link. I went there, it doesn’t have any information on heavy metals in the first place. Looks like some kind of government racket designed to rip off farmers or fertilizer companies because it’s 100% useless.
The counterpart to it says on the bottle it’s natural molasses but also has a warning it’s not for human consumption . Both have what they label as non plant food ingredients which are vitamins on the avalanche.

The Avalanche is kelp and the Mendocino Honey is molasses. Maybe folks don't know those particular products but they're familiar with the ingredients.

I just noticed the derived from, looked it up and both are inorganic on the avalanche. The avalanche doesn’t exactly list what’s in it and has no mention of kelp. Have you used either product?

the definition of organic is different in chemistry from biology, and marketing takes advantage of this all the time.

If the molecular structure has a carbon atom in it, its organic, if its a by product of life, it is considered organic for marketing purposes and by a biological definition, but chemically, if no carbon atom, its not organic, period. End of discussion lol.

whether or not they forked out money to be OMRi listed and permitted to use the term "organic" in the marketing of their product is irrelevant, but that is indeed the thing most pay attention to, because marketing lol.

Used conventional engine oil, by definition, is organic.

Epsom salt, by definition, is not organic. And neither is calcium phosphate

organic fertilizers will expose you and your plants to orders of magnitude more toxic heavy metals and fungal/bacterial pathogens in an indoor growing environment then synthetic feeds ever will as well.

these have been Facts lol. Im sorry, i jump at every chance i get to point this out.

Yeah there is a whole extortion ring around product labeling. A friend of mine represented the woodworking industry and somewhere along the way some environmental group developed a certification that you had to pay a shit load of money to get stamped in your product and if you didn't have it there were stores that wouldn't carry your product and consumers who wouldn't buy it. Take any product certifications you come across, I.e. certified organic, with a grain of salt because it's all part of a shakedown.

That’s what I said about the website that is a cash grab. They don’t include the metals we were directed to look for on the label. No link to anything about it.

I haven't used the products, I just used AI to sleuth what's in there. From a plant health standpoint, using them for a grow would be like applying moisturizing cream to your face. Not without benefit but probably not the benefit you were expecting.

2 extremely different phenos of PBB x OKIE, any of you guys recognize either one? The less frosty is giant vs the frosty one. The frosty one is a single cola because of balls all over lol, but I removed them super early should be good ✌️

I always love some education. Sometimes you’re over my head. You mentioned a phosphate deficiency. You good to go with avalanche? I still want to know what’s in it but I’m cool with it.

I threw this slide show of mine from last summer, I think it’s a different phenotype then either of yours, but these photos are last four weeks to harvest. How far along are you? Big thanks for the beans 🫘 to @Captspaulding. This plant is one of the most beautiful ones I ever grew, got sad taking her down 🪓.
