I just went through that too. I just ordered a Phlizon FD4000 and said nothing. I’ve never done that sort of thing before and figured I would be fine in contrast to things the Finance Boss has spent money on over a 16 year period. So this weekend we went out and I bought her a new ring at Costco.

You also gotta beware of online scams. I ordered my wife a nice set of heart shaped diamond earrings for Christmas and they shipped me a Vipar Spectra XS4000 grow light instead.

Gotta be careful with those money disputes. My wife said we really need to cut our discretionary spending and told me I'd need to give up buying the Don Julio 1942 I love so much. So then the other day she came home and it was obvious she just came from the spa because she had her nails done, her hair was just styled and colored and she had nice makeup on. I asked how much did she spend and she said $260. So I said I thought we were needing to save money? And she said yeah but I need to look hot for you, and I said what do you think the Don Julio does for less than half that cost?

And THAT, ladies and gents, is why I've been having to sleep out in the grow shed for the past week.

Big thanks for the beans to @Captspaulding. This plant is one of the most beautiful ones I ever grew, got sad taking her down .

Looks like a hairy ball but I assure you it's just the angle. This is mom for part of my summer run (Ice Cream Cake). Got two of them and one Durban so no choice of moms for the Durban. Also trying to pop some OG Kush seeds I got in last year's 420 swag bag at the pot store but I'm not optimistic they're viable without some forcing efforts. I had a pack that was a year older and not one of them cracked open and they weren't special enough to force. Prolly a good reason they were free, it's like playing the slots.

Wife’s gunna kill me gotta move the SE3000 to the new 3x3 soon so needed to replace the light in the 4x4. The FCE8000 I got in 2022 is kickin ass still so I got the new 2025 FCE4800 to put in the 4x4 not bad price $309 after $60 instant savings and free shipping for a 480w light figured each of these 30 gallon pots should have at least around 500w I usually don’t push any higher than that with the bigger lights anyways 4x8 has MH fcr8000 840w over one pot with the kahuna 2 and Philzon FD6500 640w over the other kahuna 3so the FCE4800 will be over the Frostette

The MH is the coolest runnin the light of all of them at the highest power so that’s what I went with for now, I wanna do an upgrade in the 4x8 eventually with matching lights so that’s down the road though

It's all snowed in up there. We spend a couple nights there overlooking the lake in March a couple years ago. We stayed at the Quiet Mind and can't find the pictures right now. Here's a couple from the web

This was the corner room, we were next to it.

Lake Cuyamaca had snow all around. I've gotta find those pics I got a great deal, off season, obviously but my wife wanted to go see the show. We drove into Julian and it was all melted but on the way to the resort there was snow everywhere. It was magical, honestly. Gotta find those pics!

This time was Dos Picos in Ramona. Cabin has a bath with tankless water heater. $75 a night is hard to beat and getting out of the city for a few days, PRICELESS

Planning on a visit to Mt Laguna in May.

We did the Anza Borrego
Glamping in the desert in 'ol Blue 4 years ago

Hoot and a nanny. We're literally on the edge of the desert. Did one hike and saw a family of Big Horn. There's people that have never seen these even though they've hiked many times.

Our Anniversary is Saint Patty's day, we fkin' Irish so every year, depending on the weather we try to get away for a couple days. Just worked out a week earlier and with the current weather forcast I'm glad we went now instead of next week.

Julian, oh man. Twin Pine Lodge is where my wife and I stayed many times. That area is gorgeous.
