Hydro and using general hydroponics. Doing the Lucas method. Any idea of what’s going on and what I need to do to correct?

That definitely looks like nutrient problems. Possibly more than one thing is going on. The yellowing and browning on the lower leaves could be a few things. The Lucas Formula cuts out Grow, so it’s naturally lower in nitrogen. Some plants, especially in veg, just need more. If she’s still vegging, this could explain the yellowing. This could potentially be due to a pH problem as well. In hydro, you want pH between 5.5-6.0. If it’s off, nutrients get locked out, even if they’re in the water. A little drift from 5.5 to 6.0 over time is good, but anything outside that can cause problems.
Some things to try/check:
- Check your pH ASAP – Make sure it’s in the 5.5-6.0 range. If it’s off, that’s probably the main issue.
- Might need a little more nitrogen – If she’s still in veg, try bumping up FloraMicro slightly to get a little more N.
- Add some Cal-Mag – The Lucas Formula doesn’t include it, and a lot of plants in hydro need at least 2-5ml per gallon.
- Check your roots & oxygen levels – If the roots aren’t healthy, she won’t be able to eat right. Make sure your air pump is doing its job.

What’s your pH, PPM, and water temp looking like? That’ll help figure this out faster.

Ph has been drifting from 5.5 to 6.3 so I keep lowering it daily. Ppm is around 1200. It seems to be bouncing back more than it was. I’ll have to check current water temp.

First impression looking at the pics is a potassium issue. Either blockage by excess Ca/Mg, root zone problems or deficiency.

The Lucas method not only removes N it removes a great deal of K during veg. GH grow is 2-1-6

There is a direct relationship between K availability and N use by the plant. Just another avenue to consider though, I admittedly know very little about your grow.

I'm not a hydro grower, but from looking at the leaves it's likely there are more than one problem. Often, it's best not to try to fix too many at once. More info is needed, including environment settings.
