ive been reading up on this and apparently plants use microscopic ion pumps to pump up nutrient laden water to to tops , so i am wondering if birdsong or just vibration opens up these one way pumps more often ? ive got a old clockwork music box which i wind up a few times a day .I tried using copper rods and wound copper tube in a spiral spring fashion. Nothing to note though. My tomatoes did horrible last year. I spread #700 of biochar today. Going to rake it in tomorrow.
