Herm, auto, photo, ach, what’s going on?

So, I have a plant, started from seed. The package indicates autoflower. I started 2 seeds (different strains) about 6 days apart. The one planted 6 days later is about 2 1/2 weeks into flower and does need defoliation a bit. The older one hasn’t started flowering yet. It doesn’t seem to be showing signs of herm, unless I’m totally looking at it wrong.

I’m wanting a 2nd set of eyes on it in case I’m missing something.

The other possibility I’ve considered is that it may actually be a photo. I’ve moved it into a tent by itself and am starting a 12/12 flip today to see. But here they are, what’s everyone thinking? Me either, that’s why I’m leaning towards either It’s just not flowering very fast, or it’s a photo. A 1212 flip should tell the tale

I sometimes wonder how autos start their clock and whether environmental factors can affect it. I had some autos that languished in the establishment stage for weeks. Once they apparently started growing like they were in the vegetation stage, the vegetation time was close to being as expected. It's as if their clock didn't start for a while because of their slow start.

I’m starting to think that I need to just let the plants be plants and quit over analyzing things.
But also, on the off chance that something looked like it was going to go its own way, I surely don’t want a whole tent full of pollinated girls.
