Man, i payed for my last MRI on my own. Its like $1850 straight up cost. But the last time i had insurance cover an MRI they charged me $1600 co pay and upped my deductible both.

I actually dont even bother with insurance anymore. Unless im getting coverage through a large company i work for getting a deal on decent coverage, its cheaper without insurance. Literally all of it as long as its not insulin or heart meds.


i didnt yell GOOD, but i def gave a loud HA when that happened. Surprised it took that long for someone with nothing left to lose to make that decision.

Shit i was in an ankle boot spring before last for 8 weeks from a fracture.

Insurance wanted a $450 co pay for the boot the walk in would have charged me $900 for.

I ordered a nearly identical boot from amazon for $75 (was actually nicer, came with tons of different sized inserts, and multiple discrete air channels with built in pressure pumps. Was like "King boot" compared to what the walk in had.

the USA healthcare system is a straight up scam, and its unashamed of it. it's proud of it.


The nurse practitioner even told me straight up: "All i can tell you about the amazon boot, is that its technically against the law for me to reccomend anything other then the boot i have that is provided by, and covered by the insurance companies"

What a fucked up way to have to tell someone that they should buy the amazon boot.

My distrust for insurance companies and their bedmates the healthcare system, and the pharmaceutical companies have left me with a very similar point of view. I haven’t had healthcare in over eight years.

same. If im in a lot of pain and i HAVE to be productive i take some kratom, but im very consciously responsible with that one.

Momma nature has my back way better then any of those charlatans.

I use our medical system for diagnostics at most. Treatment? Yea if i cant make do without a surgery maybe.

Thats why I cringe looking at the 5% N in Flora Micro. I want to give her a multivitamin, not a steak dinner goddammit!

when you mix even parts flora micro and flora bloom you effectively half the nitrogen % to 2.5 which is pretty perfect for most modern strains in hydro contexts through flower relative to the pk ratios you end up with.


I still dont like flora 3 part for anything but DWC or heavy indica doms though. And if you dont ever use the flora grow at all, even in veg, most cannabis plants will look happier through life.

Peppers and maters though, my god, flora 3 part on some of those, youll have pepper and tomato *trees* slumped to the ground with fruit weight. Its prob the most fruitful feed regiment ive ever used on container bound plants that flower and fruit throughout their life cycle. Certain tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, etc. The results can go beyond absurd.

Had DWC better boys and jalepenos in the highschool hoophouse tied to the PVC hoops, going from one side of the greenhouse up and over the arch to the other with the flora 3 part. The ag teacher was stupefied lmao. two 5 gal buckets out produced the rest of the tomatoes and peppers in the hoop house. Flora is better at growing food then smoke imho. Its a beast in DWC with cannabis if you leave the grow part out all together tho.

Haven't played with DWC / Hydro, just soil grow bags outside.

May I present… the FC-E4800 and the what the fuck insanity PPFD 🤣

Measurements taken at plant higher currently… 45” from the light… then at 20”

Yeah, this light is a 60-70 precent runner max haha fuckin love seein that availability in a light

Now this shit looks fuckin proper 😜

Took awhile haha I don’t even wanna think of the total cost in this haha

Oh I started that at 32 myself… that’s when I quit working construction, now… at 38….it’s a process to sit up in bed to leave for work, literally EVERYTHING cracks before I stand up 🤣 only reason I did it for so long was my dad owned the company, ran it for… longer than I’ve been alive, when he retired I made the decision to go find a job instead of continuing, there’s money to be made but not really in this area, no big money really, so that’s when I said fuck it I’m goin for a plant job fuck outdoors haha

Thanks fam, I could do much more with it but I know I already overproduce, I just like a nice clean setup, I’m the kind of person who has no interest in grams per watt, etc I like enjoying the full plant top to bottom is a bit more challenging if you have issues it’s just a shutdown and restart but being plant limited is like that anyways
