So I opened a marijuana seed that wasn’t germinating easy and inside was a brown leaf like structure can I plant this by the edge at the bottom and it will grow or what

I haven't had much luck doing that. If you bought the seed, the seller might send you another. Otherwise, buying more seeds might be your best option.

I mistook it for brown when it was red, seems to have a taproot now
