In all my years of cultivating they say not to go too crazy. I typically go crazy. I'll lollipop and trim below the canopy and occasionally take top leafs blocking buds. It doesn't seem to increase flowering time or cause undue stress to the plant. I'd limit it to less as possible or at the begining of flower. When I do lollipop or trim I ensure that I hit her with recharge or some liquid kelp as a little treat for being a good girl.

Ok cool

I hit day 21 of flower and cleaned her up and tied some branches down. Better light penetration and air circulation has made a tremendous difference.
I know people who will do a defoliation at day, one of flower and then again at day 21.
They seem to have good luck with it.
