All you can do is give your best shot! It’s just not ideal pot country! Too many people harvesting in September! But hard heads like you are learning and adapting every year! With the new strains and some stick to it attitude, maybe things will change in the future! Last year, mother nature was pretty good to a lot of people back there! Saw some getting into October! Can’t wait to watch your experiences! Kudos to you for throwing down!🙌

Last fall was a difficult time with the remnants of two hurricanes spinning over Ohio for days and days, I built a makeshift greenhouse and a good fan that saved me from bud rot.

Progress doesn’t come easy! It didn’t come easy for the Norcal growers way back in the day! But you keep plugging away! Flying the flag!

El Dorado County will do! And back in the day what a treat it was to get some Norcal sess! Threw down up in mad River California right around 1980! Cats really took pride in it! Still do!👍
You’re bringing back fond memories, spent many years 1975-82, in the Arcata, McKinnleville, Blue Lake areas. Old Humboldt State guy. That was back in the heavy skunk days. Sure miss that strain. Loved the area, hunting, fishing and a wonderful supply of wild psilocybin mushrooms.

I remember liberty caps, they were good 👍

If you check out, the cop show on reelz, the sheriffs of El Dorado County, you might see some of your old stomping grounds!
For the life of me I must be stoned, I used to fish a lake there, I want to say it is Amador Lake?

When I grew out in the boonies on the edge of the kalmiopsis wilderness area in southern Oregon on the north Fork of the Smith! Had a big pile of leftover bags of unused, cow and chicken manure stashed underneath the Manzanita! When I would walk back up to camp after dark, I would hear the bears crashing through that manzanita like it was nothing! Tough sons of bitches! They were in love with that manure pile!

Amador is over by Chester! About an hour and a half from here! I’m not sure how far from Hangtown! But you can probably get there on Highway 89 or maybe 49! But not a long drive! I would guess maybe three or four hours from Placerville!

Oops! I’m giving you a bum steer! I’m thinking of Almanor! Never been to Amador, but it is probably a lot closer to Hangtown! I knew something didn’t feel right!😂

Spent a few years in Rancho Cordova where I went to high-school, used to go to Sam's town drinking the Bull, OMG can't believe I'm going to be 65 soon, lol
