Im going to go back through and just confirm things tomorrow during their watering, but im fairly certain I’ve got 9 female Cali blues from @Captspaulding sittin out there. I did let the number one get a little dry the other day its showing now but other than that they are champion growers thus far! They are, THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE GREEN!

soil probes usually arent worth their weight in dog doo unfortunately. And i believe the soil has to be freshly saturated to get a semi-accurate reading too. Your plants look happy, imo their PH is fine lol

If you ever want to try and diagnose a suspected lockout or something, youll want to give a watering with a bit of tray drainage, then check the PH/EC of the drainage compared to what it was going in up top, that'll tell you a lot more useful info

I'm disappointed in her yield. Not her quality though. She was only taking like 1/8th of the tent though lol. Can barely even tell I've harvested a plant.

I'll be letting this clone go lol

Appreciate the feedback ✌️

I’ve been using the three prong as a light gauge only.

Trying to keep it super simple in soil. Checking PH is not a part of my future plans. ✌️ I’m sure it’s helpful and maybe one day I’ll be knowledgeable enough to utilize that info.

Right or wrong I’m focused on feeding, light intensity wet/dry cycle and fighting high temps. It got up to 86 f in the tent today. No bueno 🤓

if youre plants are happy with what youre doing theres no need to get all nitty gritty with all that.

A ph meter is more just a troubleshooting & real-time monitoring tool then anything. And most feeding regiments have Ph stabilizers in them, and if not, your soil likely does, or maybe its a naturally ph neutral living soil. And if you follow bottle directions on bottled feeds it's more or less usually a total non issue.

I mix my nutrient ratios and soils from scratch, and i dont use any buffers. And i combine heavily organic soil bases (ewc, colonized pellet feeds, composts) with synthetic feeding regiments all the time. That's the main reason why i have to keep such a close eye on my measurements. I can usually catch problems before they ever even express that way. And if issues do express i can usually resolve them before my plants stall out.
