I picked up the car a few days ago, over the last year, so I’ve been running into some issues with some bullshit in the car that I haven’t been able to quite figure out on my own well I took it into Southern speed and the boys pulled the motor and whatever a bunch of stuff and I had to just go ahead and refresh the thing anyway new sleeves pistons crank bearings micrometer in the pistons resurface the motor and heads afew other things
To juicer up a little bit the old girl responds well when you’re nice to her all told 3700 bucks but they checked her on the engine sand and threw a load on the motor just under 900 hp naturally as in a car that 2660 with me in it now sounds great and everything but thing is now I’m gonna have to like teach myself how to not floor it all the way or I’m gonna have to retard my launch which there’s no way in hell that’s happening so the only other option is to add two more points on the roll cage the fuck fairly certain though once I get all this other dumb shit done with these fittings right here she’ll launch like a banshee. She’s almost ready now what happened with these well, they’re soft gaskets that are inside every separation point on these fittings hurricane comes out power for extended period of time the car runs off a deep cycle gel batteries batteries aren’t getting the trickle charge that they need they die. Cash has been tight but it picked up your recently a little bit and the guy at Southern speed sent me some pictures and they tell me that you got a surprise there want us to fix it and after that bill I was like fuck that I’ll come get it and do it myself good thing they ran it on the engine stand. You never know when some shop has it fucking stooge running around there that you know doesn’t look for things like that anyway the C2 fuel that I run is some pretty gnarly shit and if you don’t cycle the motor if there’s fuel in the system, you get rad shit like that that ends up happening so now out of an abundance of caution I get to replace basically everything that is a fitting or a line that feeds fuel anywhere from the bottom of the fuel sale through the fuel pump all the way up to the carburetor before I can even think about starting that car good thing I’m prepared and I already have spares all that shit laying around it’s gonna be fun but pretty soon. She’ll be breathing fire again. It never ends.

Wow so I didn't think it was necessary to switch an auto to 1212 cycle.

So is every Autoflower able to be tricked into vegging longer?

Does every Auto flower respond well to switching to 1212 when you see flowers?

My only concern is this would affect my strawberries and they are taking a longer time to grow in fact they take about 2 weeks potentially to germinate.

My critical purple autoflowers are supposed to be somewhere between 10:00 and 12 weeks total grow time.

So I guess I could just stick with 16 hours since that's better for my lights and for my sleep schedule.

If there's no benefit from doing 18 versus 16, then I guess I'll just do 16 and maybe try that 12-hour trick.

But I thought only photo periods needed the 1212 cycle?

Yeah, you don’t need to switch an auto to 1212 whole thing is trying to maximize one of those things for the most you can get from one of them and the whole thing is is is that the genetic make up of the plants that are capable of flowering 24 hours a day Means that you don’t have to change the light cycle. It adapted to be able to do that in order to still be able to flower and pack ditch weight.
That type of cannabis is from parts of the world that the sun just doesn’t go down for part of the year, and it happens to fall on the part of the year when cannabis grows.
Now when I fucked with Auto‘s before, they annoyed the shit out of me. I always no matter what have a bleeding heart for my plants. you can tkeep them on 24 hours of light. There’s a lot of people who do that but I always did a 20 and four cycle to ensure that the plant would get at least a little bit of rest because I truly believe that every plant should have a lighta out period In order for it to reinvigorate itself and transpire, which is pretty important.

I will say a couple of times that I actually breathe through just to take a look at some of that shit is that you know sometimes there are kernels, the truth, and a few things that they say, but they’re never clear enough or lame enough for a newer amateur grower to be able to grasp something correctly And honestly, it’s a real pain in the ass trying to spell some of the bullshit that they put out there you know they might have been growing for a much longer period of time, and that means that they can cut corners that someone else really can’t cut and it’s always better to teach someone by going through the motions or Something And letting them understand what they’re doing actually that’s what pisses me off about a lot of those supposed to cultivators just a mouthpiece for a bunch of shit in my opinion too.

It’s just that the fuel that is sitting in a car like that is pretty fucking caustic shit man and honestly, I was really fucking stupid and just left that shit in there. I didn’t even fucking think about it with all the other stuff that was going on at the time it was the last thing I thought about I should’ve known better you know all I had to do was pop the fuel line off and drain it out but you know hey it might’ve won the battle but it didn’t win the war you know fucking 55-year-old pain in the balls.
As far as all the other stuff about ethanol? it’s correct like I don’t have one gas operated tool around here that I don’t have to rip apart at the beginning of every season and basically replaced all of the little tiny bullshit fuel lines that they put in that are set to fail because they’re not made out of the right shit anymore so the stuff just chews through it And the shit that that corn sauce bullshit leaves all over the inside of every fucking carburetor is it’s a death sentence and everybody’s always like oh I don’t know why my shit surges.
