woah... all of a sudden that chorus from that slipknot song from back in the day, The heretic anthem, made sense to me when i read this.

in sedona they sold these plastic caps to click on to your soda and beer cans. Entirely to keep the swarms of houseflies and the wasps out of em. I found out what they were for the hard way.

The wasps dive bombed the sodas, and the house flies dive bombed your beers lmao. And both of those things are like 3x the size in AZ that they are here or in the mid west lmao.

I spent 4 months in Wichita Falls Texas in the summer and I swear I’ve never seen bugs so big anywhere. Those mosquitos were like pterodactyls. S***s real in the Ozarks too.

you can feel them bite, and they usually leave a big splat of cow blood on you when you smack em too. Those guys can suck a fat one, carrying away little old lady's chihuahuas and shit.

So a quick tip for any of yall who are fortunate enough to have a central ac vent in your grow room.
Ive found it to be quite worth it to make a vent extension with a luttle foam a bit of extra flex duct and some staple gun action to fix it in place.
Throw some duct tape around seems after to tighten it up.
Its handy to be able to have a omnidirectional
Ac vent that you can place by the hottest points when needed.
Just something i do when it gets to be a pressure cooler here. Every bit helps.

we got all the same critters for the most part as texas and arkansas, we just have gnarlier winters so they stay nice and small. usually. Although thats changing. every year the bugs are getting bigger and more numerous here now lol.
