Gonna be a forest in there!

When you water seedlings and young vegetative plants, water away from the stem. It will encourage the roots to seek the water and spread out.

Your plants are a bit more mature, so you should be saturating the pots to about 10-20% runoff. Then let them dry back before watering again.

Once saturated, pick up a couple and get feel for how heavy and water-logged they are. Then, as they dry back keep picking them up and get a feel for it. At the very first hint of needing water (appearance), pick one up and feel how light it is. That lightweight feel is what you're looking for! Ideally, you would notice the lightweight pots *just* before they begin to wilt and then feed/water to saturation with 10-20% runoff.

You can water them with a gallon or 50 gallons at a time. It's the dry-back (or lack thereof) that drowns them! A gallon a day for 50 days will kill them. 50 gallons only when they dry back will not. Make sense?

You got this! Plenty of good people here to help and give great advice and guidance.
