That ramen is so high in sodium same with the canned soup if it’s canned. I don’t eat tuna but the hamburger helper these days is way smaller, not the same taste as yesteryear’s and manages to get me sick. I can’t comment on the pbj because it gives me the stinkiest farts ever imaginable and that shit hovers forever. When your fart sends the dogs away you gotta question it.

What happened?
Been moving between 2 places so I've been buying easy cheap stuff lol

The flower tent that got bagged and moved. Tiny Bit of nute burn from last weekend but they're still on track and taken care of.

All the pistils that were touching the bags or damaged while moving are turning color early now lol.

Can't really see anything besides banjo x Columbian from the front anymore.

Mango x Haymeadow purps. Can't really get to her anymore lol. I'm not sure why I put her in the back again even after the move.

Naw, I put them all in the dirt, then see who survives. 😉
I just have to master the art of 'culling'. Can't save all.

This dome is the cat's ass... I start seedlings in these and of course clones. It is rigid, solid, and sits sideways in a 2x4 tent perfectly.

The printer paper on top is to cut down PPFD to about 150 as I have two autos in there on 18/6 and set to roughly 42 DLI.

These things are seemingly a little expensive for what they are, but they are built like a brick shit house.

Lmfao i had a grilled cheese dipped in tomato soup tonight.. its been a ramen/tuna helper/pb n j kinda couple weeks for me.

*not complaining*
Grilled cheese and mater soup in one of my all time favs! 🥰

Love leggos! did you know that they got there start by coming being partnered with blocks of Velveeta cheese?

in the late 1960s and early 1970s, LEGO partnered with Kraft's Velveeta brand to offer promotional LEGO sets in the United States. These sets were available through mail-in offers where consumers could send in a Velveeta box flap along with a small payment to receive a LEGO set.Brickset.com+8BrickEconomy+8Brick Fanatics+8

The promotion began in 1967 with a series of sets known as the Velveeta Promotional Sets. For example, Set No. 1 contained 74 pieces and was available for $1 plus a Velveeta box flap . Another set, Set No. 6, included 101 pieces and was offered for $2 plus a box flap .Brickipedia+4BrickEconomy+4Brickipedia+4Brickipedia+2Brickipedia+2BrickEconomy+2

These sets were part of the Samsonite line, which was responsible for manufacturing and distributing LEGO products in North America during that period. The promotion continued into the early 1970s, with sets like the 6-4 Promotional Basic Set No. 6 released in 1971 .PriceCharting+7BrickEconomy+7BrickEconomy+7Brickipedia+7Brickset.com+7Brick Fanatics+7

Collectors today value these promotional sets, and vintage Velveeta boxes featuring the LEGO offers occasionally appear on auction sites, serving as nostalgic reminders of this unique collaboration .

This partnership between LEGO and Velveeta is an interesting example of cross-promotion from that era, combining popular consumer products with engaging marketing strategies.

Now you know lol 👊👊

What's really weird is all food from a box seems to taste different then back in the day. Almost everyone I've talked to about it says the same thing. I thought it was just me and my taste buds getting old.

Even 'ol Kraft Mac n cheese isn't as good. This is one of the reasons we don't eat much from a box or can these days.

Fast food has let us down too many times to count so we no longer bother with the majority of places. In N Out or Chick-fil-A are about the only ones that haven't fucked us over but even then it's maybe once a year when our eldest, who lives in Seattle visits.

Last night's munch, Tacos again
20250416 181627

Those beans were bought dry in bulk. Pressure cooked with tomato, onions, garlic, peppers and spices 45 minutes then fried in butter and mashed. Jasmin rice, bought in 20lb bag fried in butter then steamed with tomatoes, peppers and spices. Other than the tortillas we try to buy the ingredients and make our own, although I will make corn tortillas on occasion but personally I love the flour which are difficult to make as thin as store bought.

We're both foodies, watch a lot of cooking shows and have learned to make most of our own. World of difference in taste and health benefits🥰

Now that meets the definition of “confined space” 🤩
Yeah I normally don't do that s*** but it is what it is 😁
Tent that's in flowering will fill out really nicely. But the veg tent needs to get outside as soon as possible. Waiting for that. Nice weather to come around, still 29° at my house this morning.

I agree about food losing its taste over the years, almost like Stephen King's The Langoliers (from his collection Four Past Midnight) the story where a group of passengers on a plane wakes up to find that everyone else has vanished—and they’ve somehow slipped into a version of the world where time has stopped.

As they explore, they notice that:

  • Food is tasteless
  • Sound is muted
  • Smells are faint or gone
  • Everything feels “off” or lifeless

Most of the dinners I cook for my family are made from scratch. It takes longer to prepare meals that way but at this point I am convinced that quick cheap and easy is about as far from natural as possible. I probably spent over an hour preparing this plate the other day but it was worth every second.

That’s homemade russet potatoes french fried in beef tallow, fresh zucchini, sautéed mushrooms shallots and garlic, manchego cheese, a venison tenderloin, and a lil bit of that “Marty’s bloom booster hot sauce “
Here’s what I made the next night:
IMG 8003
took the remnants from the strainer when I made hot sauce the night before and ran a little bit of olive oil, white vinegar, water and lemon juice through it a few times to make a marinade for my chicken tenders, baked them in the oven, chopped up some fresh celery and carrots and served with a generous amount of blue cheese dressing.
