Hi there I’m new to the forum and this is my first attempt at growing my own. One Stardawg and the other is a hybrid called F1 I believe…they started out well but im seeing yellowing and wrinkled leaves ever since I repoythem into “Long Tom” pots. I think I drowned then roots so I repotted them into more suitable pots and held off watering. It hasn’t helped. I was feeding them Phostrogen and I’ve switched to an organic seaweed formula. I’ve had the growlights in continuously. I’m stumped here, thanks in advance.

Thanks guys, yeah there’s perlite in the compost, probably not enough to be loose. I really appreciate all your help. I’ll maybe take a clone off of them and start again. Overwatering was my fear and you’ve just confirmed it. Thanks again. I’ll be back .

Also recheck you nutes, there is a lot of burn.

Hi guys, back with new pics. I repotted them added more perlite and held off on the watering and feeding for about a week. I’ve kind of given up on Stardawg as she’s still exhibiting yellowing in the tips of her leaves. The other hybrid has certainly perked up and I’m now giving them a liquid seaweed feed once a week, any thoughts and advice greatly appreciated. Treat me as “green” as they come.

Welcome to the Farm! This thread has a lot of great tips from some of the best growers here.

Happy growing!

Are those a

Are those auto or photoperiod?
I’ve been giving them 12hrs under the light and 12 hours in darkness as of this week

They look badly overfed. What are you using as media? Is this a hydro grow?
I’m just using compost and perlite, took your advice though and stopped feeding and watering. I gave them a weak liquid feed of seaweed yesterday . As I said I’ve pretty well given up on the Stardawg as I think I really drowned it. They were both so lush and healthy before they got potted up in those tall plant pots. Thank for all your advice, first time attempting it so I’m here to learn.

Yeah, looks like pistils starting. Seeing as this is your first grow, I'd see it through to the end. Nothing like hands on experience for learning. Unfortunately, I don't think you'll get much off them, they're very small. Entering flower stage with problems is gonna make it worse. Do you know if they are photo or auto? I don't see that you specified in your previous posts.

Old growth won't heal. That yellowing will stay until the leaves are removed or fall off the plant. If you're wanting to gauge progress, use new growth as your indicator. If its healthy, you made the right moves.

Yes I’m going to stick it out to the bitter end. I’m not expecting much but I have enjoyed the experience. My set up is really basic, heat mats and grow lights and seaweed fertiliser. Not much cash for expensive stuff . I know the seeds were feminised but I don’t know about photo or auto. I’m pretty good at making clones of ordinary plants so I if I can get a couple of cuttings from undamaged stems with good leaves I’ll have another go. Thanks so much for all responses .

Thanks for your advice. I think I’m going to go the cutting route on the Stardawg ( smallest weakest one) I’ve already stripped off a lot of the yellow leaves so I’ll wait until she recovers a bit and take a cutting to start over. I’m mad at myself because they came on so fast and were doing so well until I potted them in totally unsuitable pots and drowned the roots. I’m grateful to all of you who stepped in with advice.

Hi, I’ve got a spider farmer growlights. These are the poor things I almost killed stone dead. Against the odds they’re fighting for life , I nearly binned them but I kinda want to let them do their thing even if I won’t be rolling one any time soon. 😎.
They smell nice and it’s got me hooked to try again. I was going to take a small clone off the Stardawg when she beefs up a bit. Thanks guys for all advice .
