Okay I had to show her off now that she's deep into flower.

Like I said this is my first auto, so if anyone has any idea what the timeline on this plant could be drop a comment please. I know most autos are supposed to be finishing up right now, but I'm happy she took the time to recover herself before going into flower. BECAUSE THIS GIRL IS GETTING STACKKKKKKKKED.

Here we are on day 91:
Day 91 April 22

Here we are back on day 71:

And lastly day 66, 13 days after my last post:

Good Job

She's about finished up we will be chopping on day 119 exactly 17 weeks.

Now taking bets on final weight!!!! I showed someone the picture the other day and they said 5-6oz, and IDK if we'll get that much but I'm still so very proud how much bud she put out for having no fan leaves.

That's kind of what I'm hoping I can do with this thread myself. Maybe it can give some other newbies hope for their rough looking plants.
Honestly every page I was expecting " new start " but we keep learning the same things over and over
cannabis plants are tough.

Now we all being rude. OP asked for an estimate.

4.5 lids dried and .5 oz trim

Seriously if it's anything close to that I will be indescribably proud of this girl. I will report back one last time once I have the weight.

SO today we come to the question on if this plant was worth saving. Once she lost all of her fan leaves I think we were destined for disappointment. Even through she thrived after we let her recover from the underwatering she was not even close to as dense as I had hoped for. She looked so much better before the drying.

We ended up pulling off 56g in total of some really mid quality stuff. It reminds me of the time I ordered a cheap bag of THCa shake. Very harsh and the effects do not last long.

So, in short I honestly dunno if this plant really was worth saving as an autoflower. If she was a photo we could have vegged her out a bit longer, but these plants really do just not give you much time or room to work with. Below I've also posted our 2nd try at the same strain on day 89 and fortunately those buds are much more substantial, and sticky. I'm very excited for her sister, and we've already harvested another autoflower successfully that was MILES better than this. Just glad we were able to learn a from this experience. Thanks to everyone who chimed in their support.

Came out a little on the larfy side but taste shouldn't have really been affected. The taste is going to be more influenced by your drying and curing. You'll find some folks who will argue larfy bud can carry more flavor than dense, and I'm one of them. You've got good dry trichomes so if you were to just load a bong and give it a gentle and quick pass of the lighter, that should reveal more of the true taste hiding in there that you should be able to get to if you can purge more chlorophyll and give it a long cure in the jar.

Hi, nice work. Experience is learned through disappointments and joys. 50 grams is a good ratio for an auto that has had problems, anyway the effort and expense sometimes do not compensate not because of the quantity but because the quality of the plants that suffer problems is also quite low to those who do not have them. Thanks to you for sharing your experience with us.
