YEA what he said.since indoors the light is allways only coming vertically from above plants are not designed for that soo you have to bend it soo small new buds are in direct light.that will make them grow at the same time as your main bud and you will have lots more weed

I would actually use a different soil when you transplant into the final pots.

going to be honest with you not sure about the soil, this is my first time, after this grow I am going to invest more into the soil etc. I am doing research right now on LST. And going to just have fun with it. Learn as I go and will become a master as time goes.

Miracle potting soil may have changed years ago it wasn’t good for cannabis as it’s loaded with nutrients & other stuff
so much the plant would never use it & it got a bad name in the cannabis community

I just checked yours it’s loaded to the brim
Way way to much food enough to last 6mths
Not good as by harvest time you don’t want food left

I highly suggest you replace it

What to bio bizz fox farms plenty names
Sure others will have there own preferences

can't I do a flush and get most of the nutrients and stuff out? Thats a bummer though about the soil I have now. hope it don't have a huge impact on harvest, also which Fox Farms soil should I get

I don’t use fox farms soil
I did have a look at there web page & going by the amount of folks who use it. There ocean mix is the most popular

I’m guessing your in USA where fox farms is widely available

I personally use bio bizz or house & garden my preference is the house & garden blend witch I’m not sure either is available in the USA

Had you been in the uk I would of have pointed you towards bio bizz light mix only because as the name suggests it’s lightly amended

As for flushing “proper flushing” aka leaching requires you to use a lot of water 5 gallon to every gallon of soil in the pot & is highly stressful I can’t recommend it after trying it once myself as the plant I tried it on looked like crap afterwards and didn’t recover well

If it was my grow I’d transplant them & leave as much of the old soil in the pot & water what’s left down by adding better soil however that may not sit well with your budget

As said there are other good soils
Hopefully someone else with experience pops in & helps you out with what other soil maybe a good choice

So I am pretty sure the Auto I have has started flowering, I am seeing little White hairs around some of the nodes. looks pretty. pictures are coming, today marks 21 days

For the most part no, you can't flush Miracle Grow soil. Miracle grow is usually time release (which is the major problem with it), so you can't really flush out the nutes. I like Fox Farms Ocean Forest, been using it for over 10 years.

Update on grow day 53, lost one of them stunned growth. But the other 2 are doing great. The auto flower has started flowering. The photoperiod is looking great. Here are some photos
