It’s horrible for peoples mental health, but I’m just an essential worker who never got that opportunity that so many people did during the pandemic. The pandemic took a valuable thing from an already spoiled rotten entitled portion of society, time! Now even four years later people are still running around in a constant state of entitlement,always in a rush, and always looking for someone to blame for their own problems.

for tennessee, you gotta think a little more like Boomhaur. Its like a mush of the Tx and GA accents put together, plus a kazoo. I sounded a lot like this guy for the longest time. I changed my accent on purpose til it stuck. i wish i had never done that though





To be specific tho, im talking bout the appalachia side of TN.

Yeah right a NH accent is a mixture of trash mouth Taxachuesets , down eastern Mainer and straight up farmer speak and some of us curse, a lot. Some of us lay it on particularly thick too. When my girlfriend from West Chester County NY met my uncle Biff, yes I have an uncle named Biff, I had to translate for her.

Every time he says No or videos, or anything like that ends in an O or a hard R. i love that accent though. My dad's half of the family is michigan native, and he def doesnt sound like we did.


@MartyMcFly42oh to me its ridiculously obvious hahahahahaha, i bet it just sounds like words to the locals.

He gave me a big boost of country pride though.


We changed our accent on purpose because fuck the monarchy, and we stole all the king's slang too. Dont fuck with the country boys. Us tennesseeans ought the british, and we fought the north and south both just to keep their bullshit damn problems out of here. None of us had slaves, we couldnt have afforded it, and the irish werent allowed to own slaves anyway, nor would they ever own slaves. In TN We kicked the people owners ass to the curb, and weve kicked the big boys in washington to the curb too. Weve had more volunteers on ground in every major conflict then all other states put together, and we have carried more of our fellow men on our backs and out of harms way then any other group of people in the country. if someone needs something tough or difficult done, and theres someone born and rasied in tennessee in the crowd, their hand will probably go up first. Fact. Chances are theyll refuse compensation simply because offering service was the humanly thing to do for someone else.


Southern appalachia is more just an extension of Irish culture then anything else though, fuck the monarchy and all.
