The hugelkultur raised bed I did for Mom last year. All naturally accumulated and harvested mineral rich flood plane loam and homemade composts mixed with local topsoils. De-barked hardwoods in the very bottom to slowly decompose.

Today's task is to aerate in a couple bags of composted manure, and top dress some light blood and bone meal before it gets planted

On that same note* I drive my deceased Mother’s Toyota truck. She was a BIG fan of being in the outdoors and camping whilst with the living. Clearly nothing’s changed.

Funny part is I’ve never done anything g to the Lawn lol, its always been nice, got much nicer after the tree removal and sun started hittin the whole yard, but dead of summer the back section dies, but thats my own fault haha, we never expected to clear that much when I cut the trees all the top branches piled up there

I had a pile 20 x 20 x 10’ high sitting there for a full year by the time I was able to burn it all off lol

It’s hilarious how fast the accent changes when you cross the NY / MA line it’s almost instant, stop on the first store you see and the cashier is speakin a different language
