Ladies and Gents, friends and fellow cannabis afficianados alike, this is one for the books.

I have heard of it. I have personally never seen it. It’s kind of like something out of the ‘Bottleshock’ movie but holds water and me thinks I actually have one! It’s one of those rarities that you really wish you didn’t have, trust me, but, it’s worth the case study, right?

One of my dear Canadian friends that’s deep up in BC begifted me some beans in 2018. They are made up of the same Dad i.e. an original BC Brainwarp(Texada Timewarp gone Blueberry), that was mated with an Animal Cookies Mom and a Headband Mom. Plenty of food for thought there. But, something happened on the way to paradise…

I believe I have a real Uniq. A drone i.e. a sexless plant.

Of 32 seeds that were mixed in transit the Animal Cookie and Headband Brainwarp seeds had gotten loose from their holdings and thus were mixed upon arrival. S’okay, because I know what I am working with.

But, seven years later I am now going through what germinated and luckily have a very verile male on hand. But we have an anomaly present…
Three weeks into flower and I clearly have one very unique(or Uniq?), mutant that is very noteworthy*

Has anybody ever actually seen such a sexless plant?
I plan on continuing to monitor this freak all through the flowering cycle that the others are eesponding to. It just really trips me out that this might be that rare .001 percent chance of a sexless plant.

What are your thoughts?

Correct. The last picture is how far along the other plant is. Believe me, I’ve had sativas that didn’t show sex for three weeks. Whereas this is almost entirely indica. Its been 23 days since the flip.

Thanks, Ninja
That’s exactly what I needed. I knew that there was a term or a name for it and that is it. Or at least is well put by description. LMFAO!!! As of yesterday I started seeing a few sparse pistils. Me thinks it’s axe time.

How long was it vegged for?
If a plant isn't mature enough when it's flipped it'll continue vegging until it's ready, you can grow regular photoperiod from 12-12 and they'll veg happily.

Vegged six weeks then scrogged, waited a week and then flipped the lights.

Mind you, I am running 13/11 as opposed to 12/12. They were vegged under 18/6.

Perhaps an auto ?
Not in this case. These are regular F2’s of Animal Cookies x Brainwarp and Headband x Brainwarp. If I were to guess? I would think that “if” it is holding out this long to show it is the Headband cross.

That is an odd one 6wks is normally enough and ime 11-13 normally speeds up the onset of flowering, it'll be interesting to see what happens in the next week or two 🍿

Heard. I am going to adjust to 12/12 here in one more week. Curiosity has me in stitches.

Something else has come to mind that may play a role. These lines in particular have only known indoor life. I can only guess that within their living generational genetic code they have only known a 12/12 cycle. I have used 13/11 with great results. The finish actually looks like outdoor grown in structure and appearance and with the added benefit of a slighty bigger yield.

What if their trigger point really lay under a 12/12 cycle and 13/11 is close but unfamiliar?
All thoughts welcome.

Wat would make it sexless, ? Is it the one with pistols on top ?
I have seen some plants take up to 9 weeks to show sex and start going into flowering

Edited, i just seen your reply from earlier, the plant with pistols is a comparisom plant.
I think those texada timewarp plants used to have some auto type gentics in them to help faster flower and finish. Your seeds are selfd or f2, so you may find plants that are like some of the ancestors

These are F2’s. The original proprietor that sent me them said something similar. In that there are occaisional oddities that pop up. I clearly never expected a uniq. I just checked again moments ago and it is still benign.
