They are pretty issues! If the buds looked a little farther along, I would think it might even just be natural senescence! Looking at the plant on the left, kind of suggest N deficiency! But that would be a wild guess! In my experience when you get towards the end, the plant tends to shed the shade leaves! At least outdoors! And colder temperatures can make it more dramatic!
