So do i mix all that together to do the final evap with heat or do i try and keep that stuff out of the darker crude lookin stuff?

Probably nice to keep it out, but it’s probably hard to do physically! I think it requires a little extra filtering of some kind like said above! It’s just an impurity! Nothing to keep you from smoking it!

Ok thanks man! Hmmm. Im waiting for my silicone set to come before i play with anything further! Dude that shit looks horribly sticky! Just messing with it last night the iso would become nasty all over whatever it touched!

My next batch will not be “mashed and beat to hell” got the memo this time lol! And im only going to wash for a minute in the jar! : ) that’ll happen later today at some point.

Yeah, I think you have to dial it in! Even a 30 second shake might do it considering the weed is so dry! I think a lot of people shake it too long! It doesn’t take long to dissolve those heads!

Yeah and the advice out there to “shake the hell out of it” not sure why thats even out there.

Next wash I’ll try 30 seconds! And meet in the middle from there if i need to. But i think your 100% on the weed being old and dry and not needing much to get those trichs into the iso!

@Oldchucky yeah just got the heat mat under the dish and it’s working. You can totally see the “wax lipids and water attached to it” thinking i may try to syringe that watery waxy looking stuff out of there (as much as i can) and then scratch everything up and get it into the silicone holder and heat it some more : )

Was able to get that water out with a syringe. The “waxy” looking stuff remained though. I think i may just scrape around the pig fat ( i say that now but will get all greedy when its time to actually scrape the stuff)

Also upper management got on me about production, I said “man I need a dulytek” so that’s kinda on the table… I’m stickin too my guns on this one though! Not giving an inch! my end goal this round is too press some of the flower! : )

I’ll definitely be hitting you up about some hash tips come that venture

Nah she owes me! Hahaha! We were walking out the door to get the cats we “rescued” to the shelter and she pulled the “oh babe this little guy really likes me” crap! As we’re walking out the door with them! I’m kind of kidding, I told her she “owes me one” and I never ask for the “owe me one”! She knew I was being gracious, man, we don’t need any more cats! Hahahaha!!!!
Best part about it, the cat she kept hates me! His brother ( my “therapy cat”) loves me we were only keeping one of them originally.
