Hello everyone! I currently have 4 Blueberry Muffins plants that I am ready to transition to flower, but I have some questions...

Currently in veg, the light comes on at 6:00 AM and goes off at Midnight.

During flower, I would like to have the light come on at 10:00 PM and go off at 10:00 AM. The reason is that it is going to be getting warm here and I would rather have the light blasting at night when the house will be much cooler anyway. I just feel like it will help me maintain control of the grow environment.

Is there a "safe" way to accomplish this? I've looked around online but I am getting conflicting guidance all over the place. Do I need to drag it out and change the light schedule by like an hour a day, or can I just say eff it and make the change? What about leaving the light on for a full 24 hour cycle and then changing for light on @ 10PM and light off @ 10AM?

My last grow hermed on me and I did not catch it (not based on a change in light schedule) and I am trying to treat these girls the best I can. (Current grow journal is under "Let's try this again...3rd times a charm" if you want to take a look)

If anyone has any guidance, I would appreciate it!

Thank you,
Smoke

U be fine a little stress won’t hurt them anyways

I’ve done it many times. I always do it all at once and at the moment I go from 18-6 to 12-13. Never had a problem. I know some old school guys that do 24 hours of dark right before 12-12.

I have had to many power outages for me to worry about anymore. Used to be a 911 hair on fire thing now I open tent to stop hunidity spikes and get on with my day. lights schedules need to be a pattern for a while to trigger flowering.
But we totally get the anxiety on this topic.
