whats up growers i need some help my wife complaining about indoor growing with her allergies i need to know is there a grow tent i could use outside in my yard thanks in advance

You can make a hoop house with PVC (to any size) fairly easily. But an enclosure in Chicago in the summer. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ Seems like a tough go without some major air flow & cooling. Hopefully some local growers can chime in.

I can not imagine a tent outside in the rain and with a normal color of black in the sun and 6-15 amps of electricity mixed in. A greenhouse would be much better but tick tock tick tock little late this year.
Pot plants are tough and when proper strains are chosen for the area and outdoor grow does wonders but the end of season landing with flowering can be difficult

Playing a dangerous game growing outside in Chicago depending wya

Thought I would chime in with some more data for you.
An outside grow in a small utility barn was tried on another blog. The basic home Depot package was not insulated enough to prevent water on walls during large differences in temp between outside of the wall and inside of the mini barn. He had a mini split with control of the temp and humidity to pretty darn good rates but literally he would get gallons of water on the floor. Introduction of fans found microclimate masking as the floor was at dew point and the table for plants was at 60%

2x4 and r15 pink rolls installed like a house fixed the problem. Insulated to the proper value and with fans and control of humidity and walls not at 37 degrees inside the barn he had a very sweet set. You would expect a garden tractor inside not a pot farm.

thanks every one il just have to stick to only 3 plants at a time whats a good carbon filter

Hell yea thanks
I really don’t know what you are planning, but just putting a black grow tent out under the sun is going to be a hot affair! So you will have to run your lights at night! And if there are a few light leaks, the bugs will be lining up to enter! Just food for thought from Mr. negative!πŸ˜πŸ’
