It’s now been 14 days since she’s poked her head out the ground and I’m kinda at a lost of what I should or shouldn’t do. It had been about 5 days since I had watered and the soil was dry about a inch and a half down so I decided to add a 1/4 inch layer of earth science earth worm castings for a top dressing I worked it in the soil about a inch deep and watered around the outer leaves like the drip point of the plant towards the edge of the pot. Does she look ok? She was experiencing some light burn because I was gone for a few days so I immediately raised the light some and made sure the the DLI was still in range for the new plant growth height and light adjustment. Any suggestions? This is also an extremely lowest of the budget low grow 😂 thanks!

She looks like she's trying her best. I've got one in my grow room that looked just like this on day 14, and we were gonna toss her. Now she's one of the bigger plants in the room on week 7 or so.

I do have to ask what light are you using. I'm big on budget growing too, but if you skimp out on the light there's really no way to grow. These are outdoor plants that need a lot of light.

Looks fine. Your tending is correct. Probably was underwatered not light burn. Water more, fiddle 🎻 less with light intensity and worry more about growing. Using your current watering technique, try feeding something like Foxfarm's Big Bloom. Plant is ready for a feeding.

I’m using an aerogarden light and a boostgro grow light they put out about 400 ppfd, mostly from the aerogarden light, they are pretty strong they have no problem burning the leaves 😢 I have to keep a close eye on them and adjust the height as needed

Do you think the earthworm castings was not enough? I know they are slow to release nutrients the soil also has a decent npk ratio? Does she look hungry to you? I don’t want to burn her up!!

Any suggestions?
You're going to need a better light. You can veg with your light, but it won't flower well.

As for the growth problem, my first guess is the soil is too compact. Cannabis likes loose and porous soil. If it were mine, I'd dig it up and put it in new soil. I've removed plants that size to the bare roots and grown them successfully in better soil. So, it can be done.

Yes. I read that in the thread. However, I've seen plants with poor root development, and this plant looks like it does, too. Soil density is one cause of poor rooting, and it could be only the soil underneath the plant. Another cause can be hydrophobic soil under the plant. That's my suggestion. Do with it what you want.

Yes to the castings Yes feeding will start a growth spurt. 1/4 dose of something for seedlings. You have enough leaf.

Ok thanks I know that for a couple weeks they focus more on root growth especially in a bigger pot I also had to transplant 5 days ago because they medium she was in was to compacted and stayed to wet she survived that and seems to bee doing a lot better
