@purplelove, go back up and take a good look at the photos that
@HerbalEdu posted. The first 2 pictures posted show the trichomes clearly in the harvest window. From there, its +/- a little amber for personal preference. Those pictures are easily taken by a relatively affordable digital microscope. They run around $30 USD depending on the model you choose. It would be a good purchase for your tool kit. It will help you nail your harvest timing perfectly. The one in the link I'm about to post is slightly above $30 but that is due to the higher quality microscope stand.
