Dry vac. If you want to do it repeatedly make a manifold that connects a line to all your drain pans and you can empty them simultaneously.

If you have your plants on an irrigation system you can put a timer on the dry vac and 5 minutes after watering you can have it come on and remove most of the water.

Turkey baister or lots of towels to soak it up. Mine are on risers in the drip pan LOL i don't suck it up anymore i let it dehidrate.
I just let my runoff resoak back into the bag. I figure if the runoff gets used within a couple hours the plants must've needed it too so no use wasting it down the drain.

One of the ways you can automate this process is to use a Bucket Head from Home Depot with one of their 5 gallon buckets. Drill a hole at the bottom and insert a hose bung. Connect a hose from the bung to a refrigerator condensate pump and run the pump hose out to wherever you are able to dump the water. Don't forget a check valve in the line between the bucket and the pump so that when the vac turns on it's not sucking water out of the condensate pump. The vac should be elevated so that once it stops it can gravity feed into the condensate pump. I like to dump it in my garden so that the outdoor plants get a dose of nutes too.

My suggestion is using however many water heater drain pans you need and connect them all with PVC. Run a short length of pipe to the edge of your grow space and connect an elbow with and small tailpipe to connect your wet/dry vac to. You can extract all of the water at once. šŸ‘

Edit: just like @KolaKing suggested. Sorry bro. Didn’t see that before I posted this.

I have my catchment tubs under my plants. I water to slight run off (drips) so there isn’t much mess, then i just leave that shiz in there to evap : ) but I also get harassed about my floor being dirty! 🤣

also check this out! the low profile totes for under your bed work great for catch tubs. and they have wheels so you can get you screens up off them and then just slide the tub out from under your screens! I used those my first few runs and really like them because they are lower height than the plastic mixing tubs from Home Depot

Buy some 3/8 x 1/4 food grade tubing long enough for unit to sit outside the tent and reach into all your saucers. Harbor Freight. Manual Fluid Extractor.

Thanks for "dry/vac" - exactly what I should have thought about first. I started to buy a portable 3 gallon then realized it wasn't big enough for 6 plants. A six gallon is perfect for my garden. Your hack brought a big smile to my face.

It is my first time using a trellis net & I need some help with ways to empty run off from my catch trays which my plastic pots sit in. I have a trellis tied so I am not able to move the plants when I'm ready to flush.
Please refile "flushing" into your Broscience file. Unless you've severely toxed the soil, IMO, flushing is useless.

Got any pics of your trellis? I prefer the ScrOG method for harvest volume so I'm always interested in how people use their nets.
