I usually have to wait until I see the pollen sacks, balls, grapes, bananas, etc. I’m not good at identifying them any earlier than that.

I have a few I still can’t tell and they are a couple months old I must be blind

I ask 'cause last year I was sure I picked all females until a month later. Had to replace 3 of them.
So I am going to wait a little longer before putting them in their forever homes this year.

You can only wait so long! Then they have to go into their final homes regardless! I always wait too long to start and then have to put two or three in each one of the final homes and cull!

In my case it takes to nearly early Aug. before they show pollen sacks. As pre flower begins on my females that's when i see little dingle balls.

My plants are out at 50 degrees today in the rain. Don't have to water them plus they're getting hardened off . Within a week they'll get their summer home unless something weird happens.

They all smell different.

The cherry wanna reeks, lol. Hard for me to say, though because I’ve never grown or smoked that one before.
