New to the forums and haven’t done any formal introduction yet.. I feel like I am in a bit of a rush here and would like to jump right in and humbly ask for advice.
Been growing a few years and this is the first time this has happened. Topped a very strong and vibrant girl 2 days ago just above node 2.
Both node one and two had already produced small branches. Not wanting to disturb her I left them on with the intention to remove the branches from node one after stress of topping was over.
Now.. two days later lower branches from node one have jumped up almost to the height of the branches on node two. Very healthy and strong.
This is an outdoor grow and need to keep the plant low due to harsh wind conditions in my area. I am wondering.. any harm in leaving the branches from node one even though node two is the spot just below the topping?
Planning to basically SCROG from here on out. I’m thinking just leave all 4 as main branches. Been running it through my head and can’t imagine why this would not be okay. Any reason I should not do this? Thanks in advance!
