I know most say classical music like Beethoven is what they like but it’s all frequencies, it’s something I’ve also thought about with the Lights, Frequencies are everything it’s not that they are listening it’s the vibrations, led lights emit as frequency as well, does that affect them as well? I’ve traveled on many psychedelic vessels over the years and have yet to board the ship known as DMT, it’s a trip that I will take one day as soon as I locate where she’s docked. I recently had a mild trip on a heavy dose of lion’s mane extract , which honestly was something that I was doubtful of at first. There was a lot of geomagnetic activity in the atmosphere that day and I swear I was able to see its effects on electronic devices in my own household. Sounds weird but I saw light rays surrounding things that weren’t even on. I tried to share my experience with my cousin who is very well versed in hallucinogenic substances and was met with doubt and skepticism. Even as I type this I am prepared for the same reaction to those who haven’t experienced what I did, but it happened and until someone else tries it they really don’t know, right?

i really do hate to be a buzzkill here....


i actually did a 9 month long project for a state science fair in high school on this, and did lots of controls. yadda yadda wanted to put the thing to rest for good yadda yadda

It only make a difference in a confined space with minimal airflow, like the corner of a living room on a table or something, and thats likely because sound reflections off the surface of leaves help prevent the settling of dust, which interrupts transpiration and photosynthesis a lot more then most would thing.

If i did the experiement with grow lights in a tent with adequate airflow, there was no difference between the music plants and the control plants unless the airflow was removed entirely.

i even went so far as using clones all from the exact same mother plant (photoperiod fall flowering marigold)



The more amplitude is in a sound, such as classical, and rock music, the more of the particles of dust in the air and on the surfaces resonate with the sound frequencies, and thats just because the particles around that point in size (dist grains and such) are roughly the same size as the peak to peak wavelength of the frequencies being transmitted.

Same reason why a wall only blocks everything but the bass. Its because the wall is narrower then the peak to peak wavelength of the lower frequency sinewaves, and so it resonates and moves with them. It *reflects* everything with a peak to peak wavelength greater then the distance between the two surfaces on the wall.

i actually came in 2nd place, and just got a $250 gift card to Applebee's instead of a partial scholarship, but whatever I would have won, but apparently i broke rules technically, by running experiments on living things without explicit permission.

I still have all the pictures of the displays and such from it in one of moms albums somewhere. And i believe the myth busters came to the exact same conclusions a few years after i did this experiment lol. Being that if it has any effects, it will either be similar or identical to a frequent soft breeze, because all its doing is preventing crap from sitting on the surface of the leaf and clogging stomata and stuff like that.
