Im about about 4-5 weeks in with Pink Mist Auto from Royal Queen Seeds. My plants are about 10” tall. Still pretty puny IMO. This is my first grow also growing outdoors down south with roughly 14hrs sun up to sun down. Maybe 8-10hrs full sun, the rest is shade(can’t do any better than that with my forested location). At this point bringing them indoors too add light isn’t an option. I’ve got maybe 3 sets of true leaves and I’m seeing little white hairs starting to develop. Feels like budding, Google says it’s budding. So I guess it’s budding. 1. Should I be concerned? 2. If concerned, what should I do?

Also, I feel like my plant is small compared to some of the other week 4-5 plants I’m seeing. Plants in a 5 gallon bucket so I can move it during storms. I’m giving 2-2-2 once a week but for the most part just water 2x a week. I’ll post some pictures when the sun rises but I just feel like it’s kind of stagnant? I don’t know what I’m doing

have you drilled lots of drainage in your bucket? if not the water will sit there and heat up , the plant can sometimes look like its stopped growing at various stages, like at the start, when it concentrates on putting roots down, it pauses again before stretching then it should double in size.

yours might have gone into bud due to stress! they like stability of the environment rather than being moved all the time, in fact mine do best when i forget all about them and abuse them a bit ,

That may be the case, I tend to move them twice a day to stay in the sun but I’ve found a decent place that I can leave them that gets most of the sun without being moved. Also started them indoors under 24hr light and that’s when I was seeing the most growth. I think I’m going to start a couple more seeds and just put them out when ready and leave them. It’s 85+degrees all day at this point so I’m not worried about soil temps and whatever the scientist say is ideal.

Lots of holes, plenty of drainage. I’m also upping the water and nutes. I think I was afraid of damping off after killing 9 seedlings when I started this year. It’s been a huge learning curve.
