yeah it's always the same some pheno will have more or less of their secondary branches more vigorous than some others, some will have the lower buds a little below canopy still swelling well while some other pheno will be larf with the lowers etc.

Zkittlez going down today, a couple of last pictures, all buds look the same theyre in my last video. Didnt expect it to look this good, its a 1,80 euro seed, which in my case I get for free with online orders. Bud size not impressive but trichome wise I must admit I am impressed, but this is my last bulk seed grow for a bit, couldnt fill the entire net.

Growing some bag seeds autos as of now. I wanted to try the 6/2 schedule and its going great. I dont know if its because its been a while since I planted autos but theyre going very fast. Got some blueberry, lemon haze, zkittlez and critical jack. I dont know what day theyre in but it can be much more than a month if even. Lemon haze is already flowering. I will cut some leaves so the lower branches get more light when theyre all in flower.

Hey guys! I have a question, I have only used coco in small pots. Is it viable to use coco in 7 gallon pots? I have my eyes on atami high porosity cocos for a try on organic in coco. Hopefully that coco will be able to buffer enough organic matter for the microorganisms and Im aware that I will have to be more conservative with my ammendments but the truth is that planting from seed in big pots, even though it gives bigger plants and bigger buds takes longer. I wanna mantain having big plants without the extra time required.

A little grow upgrade which will ilustrate my point perfectly, lets see if you can find the plant that is in a 20 liter (7gal) pot instead of a 7 liter pot (3gal):

As you can see not only is way bigger but its also the one that flowered last.
Also I know, the one on the right is hungry, LEDs make it look worse, she is being taken care of.

Long as your getting some drainage to avoid salt buildups, or go to a feed then water cycle should be a problem at all. But if going organic. I would generally assume the bigger the better.

Coco is pretty much totally inert or damn close to it. It's even more inert then peat. It does not have enough on its own for micro flora to thrive no. But if your running organic feeding regiments that shouldn't matter much if any. Salt, organic, either way, pretty much 100% of your plants nutrient requirements will be met with the feeding solution alone.

Thank you! Theyre nothing impressive, bag seed autos, but so far they are performing better than I expected. The next grow I will have some good genetics going on from spanish banks, I just needed something quick to make hash out of.
Well it would be coco with at least 30% of perlite because I live in a very humid area. I can put some clay pebbles on the bottom aswell for even better drainage, would that be enough? Keeping it wet to avoid salts is what Im gonna have to be careful with, with my super soil in big pots I dont have to worry for a few days. Yes, Im aware that coco is inert I would ammend the coco slightly but since it cant buffer as many nutes I would also start feeding sooner, also I wont mess with calcium ammendments, I will add readily available calcium with my egg shell vinegar solution because I know coco gives problem with calcium unless its already buffered in a certain way. I have another option which is washed and buffered cocos by atami, they give 3 weeks of nutes like a light mix peat soil but I dont know if they are as porous as the ones that are named high porosity hahaha.

Actually the only one that is not bag seed is the big one. Thats a critical jack from silent seeds or delicious seeds, cant remember, came with a promo and Im a cheap ass so I grabbed a 20 liter por for that one hahaha it felt like a waste to use a 7 liter pot for a bank seed. She is huge for an indoors auto!

I pre veg usually, when you’re a few weeks out get them clones rollin (or seeds) have them fully into veg, about 1/3 to 1/2 plant size you would normally flip at, I can cut 3-4 weeks of veg out if I put em in pre vegged

I know it’s not viable for some with lower plant counts but I make do with 6/6 limit

Due to plant counts is why I run the bigger plants, with 3 spots for flower it makes it easier I can have 2 mothers, and be vegging 3 clones, while I’m flowering out the other 3, then as soon as those 3 start flowering I can start the next round, so theoretically I can have a 8 week veg complete and ready to throw in the flower tent as soon as I chop the previous run

Thats great! I thought about having a mother in my small indoors and use it as grow room aswell but I think its way too small, could only keep a mother, and with the ammounts I smoke I need more than 4 plants which is what I usually do, 4 7 gallon pots and 4 5 gallon pots in the small one. Now Im using 3 gallon pots because Im growing autos, except for the one in the 5gal pot, and I can fit 9 in the big one and 6 in the small one so it seems more productive. Anyway, would you keep a mother if that would take a whole tent? Could it be worth it?

He likes energy drinks like me and then gets all excited flying erratically its pretty funny. I used to hate them but since I use bacillus thuringiensis they cant reproduce in my soil so they dont last for long around.

True, but its only one for now, they dont get to form a family here plus I wash my buds. Trust me even indoors there's way nastier stuff in your buds than the shit from a small fly. Mostly dead skin and dust. Its true that indoors bud washing is not really that noticeable but I get my water dirty after a couple of plants. Imagine outdoors now lol and many people dont wash them. With 1 plant youre gonna need a couple of big buckets and change of water.

nasty doesnt bother me.the idea that that poopball will be somewhere in a humid middle and will start a colony of mold that will spread like wild fire scares me.

You must be dealing with some serious pests then... that never happened to me even with gnat infestations.

If that were true outdoors would be full of mold also. But it isnt. Insects that are not pests also poop on the leaves.

In fact, youre more likely to get mold because you have big buds (because of moisture) than with an insect poop. Thats what bothers me, high humidity with big buds, otherwise no mold.

The mix genetics of old gifted auto seeds is not going too bad honestly, these are 3+ year old seeds stored in a drawer. I did cut nitrogen too soon though thats why you will see some yellow leaves, but its only fan leaves so Im not concerned. Still boring to see, buds are too small still but meh, since I didnt post update for a bit here it is:

Also if anyone is wondering about the smaller indoors, its stored right now as that one is in the living room and I have a meeting at my home with social workers so... yeah... Id rather wait until I know Im not gonna get government visits hahaha. It will be up and runing once the coast is clear.
Thats part of the reason I went for autos this run with minimal lolipoping. 1 indoors doesnt satisfy my needs specially if I go with ammendments, I get better and bigger plants but they also take longer. I prefeer to go photos any day unless Im in a hurry and 2 weeks can make a difference, which is the case now.
