I brought her to a private room with a male for a week. Theres going to be seeds. Yes real naui Wowie. Its fire I have been making clones and gifting them ever since I found a few seeds. It was the star last summer and will be the star this summer. Last summer I crossed it to beadt mobe and made maui’s beast. Even better than the maui if you can believe that. The maui’s Beast is in a 30 gallon pot and looks like a Beast. I made this cross on accident but when I grew the seeds out to see I was quite surprised so I am making F2 s of the Maui’s Beast. Very similar to the OG Maui but on exhale a little gas. I was pleasently surprised. I am not a fan of gasss. Especially if it feels like your flame throwing on exhale. No thanks
Ahh so leaded in the animal husbandry world would equate to "exposed". I love learning something new every day, even at my age. Thank you very much.

MariJan! 👍

Just a couple of pics of my prized pepper plants. Both produce small but very spicy fruits. Now that it's almost June I'm letting them keep their flowers. Entered them both in some competitions at the OC Fair this year.

Pic #1
Been babying this Black Pearl for about 7 months. Went from a 2 inch sprout to this. Gonna up pot it to a 5 gallon grow bag today.

Pic #2
2nd year Black Cobra pepper plants. This one is almost 4 feet tall. She also has my permission to flower now.

Almost time to top them again! The blue dream is noticeably bigger than the lemon grab plants. Bonus: rose bushes, just planted three new ones this year all different colors. Second Bonus: baby birds in my big rose bush.

How many times do you top them?

How many times do you top them?
I haven't decided how many times I will this year. Last year I was topping all the side branches aswell and kinda lost track by flower how many times I actually topped them. This year I'm writing everything down so I dont forget next time lol. I will top the main branches 3 more times probably though, and see how I feel after that.

I got a late main top on mine. Then i went through and topped all the end nodes! : ) gotta maximize! I’ve only ever bent mine over (outdoor). I plan on doing the tie down of limbs though also. Hey @durbin92810 how many times do you top yours? : ) ✌️

Last year I had 2 that I topped once. They were both over 7 feet tall and yielded roughly 3 lbs each. I plan to do that again in the 3x3 beds I made. Main difference this year is I want to spread em out more and hopefully they'll only be like 6 feet tall. The other 3 I'm doing in 10 gallon containers in the greenhouse and I'm gonna experiment with different lst techniques and keep them smaller. Not sure how many times I'll top them. So if all goes accordingly that's the plan with the photos.

The fiest 2 pics were taken last August. Same strain (Bruce Banner). The area in the greenhouse is 5x6x8 and it was a very snug fit. They just finished stretching and were maybe 2 weeks into flower here. The pic of the flower was probably mid-September.

That's something ive never tried yet. Lst with the limbs. I have debated doing it but still haven't yet. Might try it eventually on one plant and see how I like it. Usually the only thing I do is just topping.

Thats kind of my idea! Get a bunch of tops to try and tie down and keep them lower. I dont have to worry so much about eyeballs over the fence around here but would rather not have to do any tending without my feet firmly on the ground lol!

Really nice set up you got there man! Well done! Can’t wait to follow along this summer! : )
