Yeah old man was a stright up steelworker built some big shit, said the biggest beams he ever rigged had a 6’ throat yes 6 foot, was to build the A1 Abraham’s in Ohio I believe? They sent him and an Indian guy (native) they called them the “hotshot gunners from New York” nobody else knew how to rig the beam and set it

That’s how I was taught to work, no safety shit, grow a set and climb was my OSHA training at 14 years old when I dropped out of school

I was given no breaks as the boss’s son, no lunch breaks for years my lunch break was a drive to the lumberyard with a sandwitch

I don’t resent him one bit for it either

I’ve built data center buildings on top of mountains where we had to run D8 dozers to pull the cement trucks up a mud path to the peak where they had sat receivers we built the buildings to provide internet to entire regions, I saw and built some cool shit growing up
That’s awesome. You are lucky to have learned so much from your dad. I learned how to pass out after a few beers and nearly burn the house down from my dad before he spilt on my mom and three boys. Did us a favor. My mom’s boyfriend of thirty something years came along five years later and has been around since. He’s a mechanic by trade and I got my first job in automotive with him. Learned enough from him to warrant a fifteen year career in automotive repair. Im grateful. I buy the man a huge steak every Father’s Day .

Thank you! Yeah, it can be too much with the dreams. One of the highlights from the last break:

I came out of large building with 2 friends. A cop car comes rushing towards us, but an angry crowd starts beating up the car with bats and continues to beat up the cops. For some reason we knew that they were looking for us (no idea why in hindsight). So then we split up. I walk all kinds of weird shortcuts and then some van comes driving down the road. I look at the driver I get more really bad cop vibes, just like Frodo must have felt when the black riders went after him and his homies. The paranoia felt so real that I woke up... Weird shit I tell ya 😂
Ever type these weird dreams into a dream interpreting search?? Or look them up in a dream guide book?

I hate reading stuff like this man, I would bless anyone of you wreckers with a jar of weed to get you by. I got more than enough to share.
I smoke 3-5 different strains a day sometimes more, right up until I go to bed and I have those vivid dreams every night. The strangest thing too is that I remember dreams, and if wake up in the middle of a dream to use the bathroom I will anticipate getting back to the dream that was interrupted for the rest of the night. I don’t know if I have awakened my pineal gland third eye or if it never calcified, but I hear so many people who smoke weed say that they don’t dream. I don’t think 🤔 I would like sleeping as much as I do if I wasn’t dreaming.
Watch out for Terry

Wow, that's too kind man! If it get's too bad I can get some from my aunt and uncle who both have a med card. I could even buy some from an old friend, but the last time I did, his Amnesia Haze totally fucked me up, so I avoided it for a long time.

Oh and I actually also do dream when I'm smoking weed. Mostly just a bit less intense and I often don't remember it, once I wake up. The best part about dreams, wheter sober or not, is getting to see my dad, who I really miss since he passed away in 2019. One of my favourite memories of him is how he showed me around Amsterdam for the first time when I was 19. First we had a fancy hotel, but they only had a room for 3 nights... so we wasted half a day to find another one for the last night. The one we got was more like a crack house instead of a hotel. You couldn't lock the door, because somebody kicked it in previously. Some kind of pesticide was used on the beds and there were all kinds of creepy bugs and shit were all around. Still we smoked heavily until late into the night and kept laughing our asses off. I slept for maybe 3 or 4 hours. The next day we were just happy that nobody attempted to rob us and that we weren't eaten alive by the bugs. We didn't really check out and just rushed out of the place at 8am in the morning. Appearantly we could have gotten a breakfast out of the deal but obviously that wasn't an option for us, in a shithole like that. Then we camped out at some coffeeshop for some more ours. When we sat in the taxi to the airport and the driver asked us how we liked our trip, I almost teared up from joy because it was like having one of the best times of my life, and I got to spend it with my best friend and the greatest person I've ever known.

Actually yeah, I have a dream guide book and sometimes also checked a website for it, but I didn't do that for a long time. I also sometimes had these weird apocaliptic (is that even a word lol) dreams where I saw this wave that seemed so fucking unreal. Like thousands of kilometers high. Or some where I somehow was part of the French revolution - really strange stuff.

This is beautiful man, and a great example of how death isn’t final because memories and dreams live on no matter what. That sounds like the perfect weekend.

I have dreams about extremely low flying military aircraft and lots of them, fighter jets dogfighting overhead and a general feeling of witnessing the first events of an aerial invasion. While I’m on the ground, it’s pretty intense at times. I’ve had the same type of dreams involving low flying aircraft for years now.

I gotta get better at these lights out Trich’s out pictures. Anyways here’s Bob Barker, aka Maui wowie 86 x Kona Gold 86 courtesy of @Captspaulding

Helpful hint for that:

I turn on a lamp in the room if ima take a night shot and not have the tent open long. Just enough light to get it to tap focus. When the flash goes off it will look exactly the same as a total darkness shot, only it will be in focus usually. Sometimes i also hold my phone or my elbow against the tent pole to help steady it too. So far ive never suffered a consequence for doing that. And if that hermie's your plant, it was going to hermie anyway for one of several other reasons. I think you and me have already had that conversation though 🤣

Quoting from the frosty thread to not take it too far off topic lmao.

I’m taking my own medicine right now 🫠🤤😴

Unbroken Chain, RIP Phil Lesh. 💀⚡
if youre arent familiar, check out what he did with the bassline on this particular live fotm version.

My all time favorite version of the song because of that groovy flowy bass line, and the way the song un-falls apart at the beginning and becomes a new version of itself. Its genius. RIP Phil.

I actually turned off all the lights in the room, just before taking that picture so now I can try again tomorrow morning before work with lights on in the room. Btw Bobs got some sticky ass resin on those sugar leaves, not oily, or greasy, but sticky like maple syrup.

DMT—along with other plant allies and cross-cultural teachings—has shown me that there is no such thing as death. It's merely a phase change.

One must be careful, though, because after death, thoughts become reality instantly. In life, this manifestation takes anywhere from milliseconds to decades—but make no mistake: thought creates reality, not the other way around. The combined thoughts of our yesterdays are the realities we live today.

This is why near-death experiences (NDEs) vary so widely. If you believe you’ll travel through a white tunnel and meet Jesus, Krishna, Buddha, Allah, your loved ones—or anyone else—that is exactly what you will experience. Conversely, if you were a piece of shit in life and believed you were going to hell... guess what?

No one, except yourself, will sit in judgment of you. And we tend to be our own worst critics.

So always be mindful of your thoughts.

As the old adage says:
"Where thoughts go, energy flows."

For sure man, gotta respect a man who will step up and care for someone’s family like their own!
