new to dwc

I built a dwc system and tried it out a couple of days and i lifted up the top and smelled a mildew sweaty odor. Is this common or what is the issue? Help Guys!!:smoke

The best thing about RDWC is the ability to put a chiller in there to regulate temps. It smelled like crap because you were too hot in the buckets and you were culturing bacteria in your buckets.. :)
