Hey guys , I’m an old school grower , like to work with regular seeds and select my plants out of a big pool of seedlings and young plants . I just started growing again , after a 20 year break 😄 I’m 41 now , I was working with hPS and hydroponics .

Well Anywhoz. I just started a new grow beginning of march with a shitty low budged seed bank ! I know I’m stubid , 20 years ago I only worked with the big Dutch company’s , I’m German and living in Germany so it was easy to get seeds from the Netherlands !

I got 2 plants from GINGERBRED genetics. London pound cake X berries and cherries ,, bla bla bla.

In week 4 of flower , since flipping the light this plant seems like it doesent want to stretch, the leafs are coming out and mature also the stigmas ! Idk. But I have the feeling something ain’t right

Nutrient deficiency? Light deficiency? I never flushed the plant !

I hope someone will give me advice a can help ! Thank you

Some plants don't stretch due to there genetics

Just making sure I have the details right. You are growing outdoors in Germany and you have a plant flowering in June... Do I have that part correct? How did you "flip the light" outdoors?

The color kinda indicates low temps. That would tie into low growth. What is the weather like?
Thanks , well actually I keep them inside at the moment ! At around 73-75 ish and then when the sun shines outside in beautiful Minnesota USA I let them have the full power , I ll sent a picture , I only have a 115w ac infinity light and then a old one 700 w with bunch a LEDs burned out , but next week Thursday I get the flora flex 730 juhuuu

Soo if you look at my grow tent the plant on the right side have that strange bud development and the plant on the left do look ok to me , although they are different strains , but got flipped same time , I try to keep my vpd at 1.1-1.3 at the moment

they look pretty good they despite the fact they didn't stretch. That's why I think it's genetics bc your leaves don't really have discoloration I can't see a problem with them. I'm a new grower though I could possibly be wrong

Ok but then they are mostly indica right , cuz a pure sativa won’t stop flowering anyway !

Oooo sorry no , I’m from Germany used to grow there , I live in Minnesota USA right now , I grow indoors in a 4x4 and just put the plants outside side when there sunshine all day , because I only have a shity old 700watt led and a 115watt ac infinity light , next Thursday my 730 flora flex will arrive,,, Jehaa upgrade tha stable

Haha ok thank you anyways ,,, I had a lot of plants back in the days , running 9 hos lights at the same time , managed hydroponics for 13m2. Full time job back then !

Yeah the thing is I don’t see any discoloration, besides it’s quit dark , like sensi star from sensi seeds , otherwise Well maybe I’m just trippin

Thanks for clarifying your setup. Like someone else said, some strains don't stretch, they pop their top and just fatten up everything below. But if you've got a variety of strains and none of them stretching, you might need a higher ppfd value. With your new light coming you might have missed the window for stretch but you'll at least be ensuring the energy to potentially fatten the buds up.

Hey thanks for your thoughts on that ! Well I can see a difference to yesterday , they out in the sun right now and yesterday we’ll see if the problem is the lighting ! I’m sure I’m just trippin ,

haven’t growed indoors in 20 years , totally different setup , fighting the heat , bugs , it wasn’t possible to talk to anyone about it except the guy in the grow store maybe ,

And now it’s a science , never heard of vpd back in the days hahaha. I got a 4x4 ac infinity tent with controller 69 pro.
Awesome 😎. , constantly watching the app 😂. A growers dream 20 years ago !

Anywhoz I will make a update on how the lady’s put on there sparking dresses 🤣
