I too give a lot away.

There’s this girl I met about eight years ago, outside a bar on my first night out after moving to this town. A few of us were out there smoking after closing, and she asked if I had any weed. I told her no, I didn’t. She didn’t even hesitate - just handed me half of what she had, which was probably less than an eighth. She’s a cancer survivor, in a wheelchair, and doesn’t have much to her name. Her generosity really stuck with me. I told myself that night: If I ever grow again, I’m going to pay her back tenfold.

Fast forward to a couple weeks ago - I finally had the chance.

I gave her a plastic dog treat container full of bud. It holds about five zips. I had it tucked in a bag, and when I handed it to her, I just said, “Here -Scooby Snacks.” She looked a little confused at first, probably wondering why I was giving her dog treats since she doesn’t have a dog. But when she pulled the container out and opened it, the smell hit her and her whole face changed.

She asked, “What do I owe you?”

I said, “Nothing, hun.”

She said, “What do you mean?” still perplexed

I told her, “This is payback-for helping out a stranger when you had next to nothing yourself.”

She teared up and gave me a big bear hug. Kept thanking me over and over.

From now on, as long as I’m growing and we’re living close, she’ll never run out of bud. I’d give more away if I could, but since that bar closed during flu, I’ve lost touch with a lot of people. Maybe that’s for the best. I like staying anonymous when I’m growing.

Truth is, I’ve got way more than I can ever use. I don’t sell. The photo is maybe a third of my stash. I’ll jar it up little by little as I can afford the jars.

Looks like there’s a lot of edibles and RSO in my future.

Some wild Afghanica buds from a friend. mazar cultivar origin. It's waaaaaaay danker then it looks. Perfect example of frost not being everything, especially for outdoor smoke @MartyMcFly42oh @TheGoldenRoad @closettrapper217 @DanielWesterfield this bud is legitimately dank as fuck. It's kinda crazy looking at it, then feeling it bleed resins and stink up the entire kitchen as ya grind it. One rip brings sweat across the brow, and ya sit down lol literally feels like it takes two full lungs of breath to get all the smoke out

Eventually shes probably going to start to look a little worse for wear with a pot that small. youre probably going to want to make some earthworm casting teas here in a couple weeks or something to supplement her as she gets further into flower if she starts to look a little worse.

if she starts to fade off and look deficient, def start giving her an EWC tea once a week til shes done.

I basically keep my family members / in laws from buying dispo bud, I just give it away as well, if I harvest and still have more than 4oz of a strain from the previous run I’ll give it away, usually my brother in law I don’t care if it’s a gram or a half pound it’s all theirs lol, and he grows too lol

I go out to the dirty kids and road hounds that busk through town during the summer and drop bags of smoke in their guitar cases and stuff when I can. Feels a lot better then selling someone some weed.

One of my best friends came by the other day when I asked if he wanted to smoke. Normally he swings by, and I have to fight to match him. He takes a "you're moneys no good here" mentality in a very hospitable way usually. Good ole country fried Southern boy...

He said he couldn't, gave himself a hernia at work and was out of smoke waiting on workman's comp (they don't fuck ya for THC anymore here). I told him if he can handle coughing to come by anyway, and I wouldn't take no for an answer. I sent him home with a gallon freezer bag stuffed tight with outdoor buds from last fall and probably 4 or 5 g of some old middle grade peaceblaster bubble.

I'm not trying to steal any kinda spotlight, I'm just adding to how much better it feels to give someone some grass then to just sell it to them. Especially when it's a reciprocation/come full circle kind of thing.

So i've been seeing alot of droop with this one it's the Gelato 33 x Okie and i've found that i've been UNDER watering it damnit to hell. I lifted the SOB up i'd not done so for weeks cause it was friggin heavy and ackward bending over from a distance to lift it shit balls it was light and i just watered it 3 days ago. I may of screwed her up the last few weeks damn this makes me mad. Just entering wk 4 of flower shit.

Ya never know, the right amount of drought stress coulda made it more dank when you chop.

I always offer weed and my surplus plants to the neighbors so they won't rat me out. They always decline but I can tell they appreciate being asked and included. I give weed to friends who have medical needs first and then I'll see who wants to get high off my crop. I'll even make a batch of gummies for my medical needs friends. Just made a batch for my 80 year old mom and delivered it to her so she'd stop reaching for the wine to help her fall asleep, because I got my own lack of an "off" button when drinking gene from her. But looking at my jars, clearly I still don't give enough away.
