I have seen this type of posts in the automotive industry for years. A new technology is introduced and is so poorly understood by early adopters that it poisons the minds of people who got things done without those fancy tools.
Just like a wrench and a scan tools and a pH pen and even a VDP monitoring system if not used properly you strip a bolt, brick a PCM, and fry your grow.
I see ACI app traces in dozens of diaries. I see a VDP point not consistent with presently understood VDP values and I see the min max on the VDP trace as high as .5 up and down in a 10 minute cycle. Grower thinks he is spot on 1.2 vdp when it goes from .7 to 1.6
Just like the guy who bought a DRB3 at a shop I ran. I had to show him how to use his own tools.
it's been edited a little,

also it's not pratical for me to control humidity in my small appartement with the window open 24/24 7/7 365/365

so that's also why i gave up with it and leave it to mother nature randomness like outdoor.

I realize it's only Monday and only 8:30 in the morning but I needed an attitude adjustment so I did an early morning toke.

Then I was reading through the news and saw that Ivermectin is now available over the counter and couldn't help but wonder aloud, before now, what was the go-to when you had worms crawling out your ass?

Dont give me weed in the morning. It's worse than feeding Gizmo after midnight! 😂
Albendazole. Used on farms since the 40's I think. Hookworms are everywhere on a dairy farm. Fyi a shot of Kerosene does the same and was used as such. Just dont puke and inhale it
IVM much better. IVM has many other uses also.

Outdoor isn't as random as you think. Generally speaking, it's drier during the day and humidity goes up when the sun goes down. Only we get swings as high as 60% between night and day here in So Cal, especially this time of year with the marine layer burnoff. And plants fucking love it!

what i mean i one year you'll get 80% rh whole june, next year you'll get 50% rh and the next you ll get 20% ... weather and wind current from the continent est or ocean west or from north or south has a huge impact on rh here on a daily basis, day by day or across the growing season.

not always but also sometime when it rain rh tend to rise also.

Yeah that's the thing with farming in general, there are good years and bad but in a tent it's all your fault, lol.

Nothing will kill the smell of your harvest faster than a nasty Santa Ana wind event with single digit humidity arriving in the middle of October. If we make it to Halloween without getting hit with the winds, it was a good year.

Kahuna 3 left, kahuna 2 right

27 gallon totes

Next is Frostette she should be equal yield maybe more to these 2, then the kahuna 2 in the 3x3

And now you see why I said I only need to do 4 at a time max 🤣

My areas are not vpd friendly.....

I've tried chasing the proper numbers, but I've found that I can, for sure, without a doubt, kill all sorts of plants tryin......and maybe I was chasing the wrong chart.....

Vpd is great if the atmosphere/area allows......

I will never miss the Santa Ana’s. Ever. Tore my yard apart in Riverside.

Well there’s a MRNA vaccine for that 🤣. Yeah funny how it went from one of the most widely used anti parasitic drugs in the world to the pariah of the pharmaceutical industry, right around the time of the reintroduction of mrna vaccines. 😠

I'm outside and greenhouse. I can't do much outside but in the greenhouse I can add a bucket of water or aquarium or something to hold water, add an airstone and/or aquarium pump and presto, everything wet🤣 I don't bother. Nature has it figured out. In the winter/spring everything is wet🤣 but the temp is low and that's when I fight PM the most🤬 but they're ain't shit I can do. It is what it is and I no longer concern myself with things I can't control. Now if I was unable to go from seedling to harvest because of SOMETHING/ANYTHING I'd be singing a different tune and doing all I could to change the math in my favor but at the end of the day I've got big bags of weed and buckets of several different flavors and could probably make a few $'s if I sold sums some but I'm good. I like what I do. As long as I can physically do it I'll continue to learn and adapt to my changing environment.

Through the years I've gotten to know growers in Southern Arizona and even more in the US North and many in Canada, eh? They all learned and adapted how to get the best from their conditions.

For me it's not just the weed, but the journey. The trials, the wins and yeah, even or maybe especially the loses are what make this hobby? A part of fkin' LIFE and it's all worth it.

We old people need to keep reminding the newbies to have patience. To enjoy the ride, good or bad and look to learn from it all. This has been a blast and wouldn't change a thing😉
