I am going to rebuild/Recycle my indoor soil with whats left from this run and have 5 pots worth ready to go. I am going to try one of those tests to see how close I can match the bag numbers on Happy Frog. Its now about $25 a pot with amendment too fuggin much.
Thats what my outdoor is in! I saved all my soil from the first three indoor runs in a planter in my backyard! Let it get rained on all winter long. Then mixed it with eco friendly soil from a landscape company (just some inert soil they claim is the best dirt I’ll ever grow in) 🤣 🖕yeah right lady! I’ve got a growers mix that id rather be purchasing HAHAHAHA! I amended that shit with TON of Gaia and i was able to find some some mycorrhiza around the yard which I threw in the pots! I was proud of that move! 😆

Yeah, you can shell out 100 bucks and get a much more accurate result probably! I’m too cheap for that! Prefer to go to the, wing, and a prayer route! But you probably feed during the grow! I rely on what is in the soil to get me through the entire grow! These plants aren’t too demanding outdoors!
Yes I need 3-6 weeks of nutes but am confortable top dressing but I do expect to make a soil that will take me to week 3 lol

Yeah, and for 100 bucks, you can buy quite a bit of ocean Forest! I’m not even sure it’s worth rebuilding your soil when you’re talking small amounts! But it is fun to do! Just for the educational aspect of it! It is definitely a must in larger quantities!😍

You should be! Makes it that more interesting to see the results!👍 I don’t get fancy, with your gaia and such! I stick with basic bulk amendment shit from 50 years ago! I’m a fossil and grow like one! L O L!

Chucky do not under estimate my cheapness. Its freakin dirt and should not cost 20 bucks to fill a five gallon pot!

Might as well use up the last 5 pounds of two year-old kelp meal! And freshen up the perlite, a tad! Mix it up and wet it down and call it a day! Fill some bags up in the morning when it’s cool! Beer and nappy time!

They love the kelp, I use it about every time I water if I get a chance to water, been raining every other day, great to see the sun shining today

You’re getting into the season! And once the drip line extends past the pot, the roots might not be getting as much water as you think they are! The plant can kind of act as an umbrella with the water running off outside of the pot! It can be deceptive when they get a little bigger! I’ll bet they’re loving a little sunshine!

They looking good, I will share pics on Thursday that will be week 4 for the autos getting close to the drip line

Whatever any of you said, NO.
🤣👊🏻🤡
Don’t be doing that! I’m too loaded to try and figure that out!😁 you know I don’t hang out over there, so I was worried about you! Thought you might’ve pushed the wrong button and banned yourself!😂🍻 just glad to know you’re still alive and well!😍 Sid! A couple of our brethren we’re kind enough to allay my fears!

This is good. I took all my 15-gallon pots from last season (12 of them. filled with Happy Frog) and threw them in a new raised garden bed, along with leaves, grass clippings, dead vegetable plants, shit from the Gutters when I cleaned them, handful of fish head/racks, veg clippings, sticks and shit from yard clean up. I basically dumped everything in that bed all last fall, winter, and this spring. Going to top it off with some horto mix from the landscape yard. Hopefully it will be productive for veggies this year.

Should be productive for anything you plant in it!👍

That was my idea! I had pine needles under it all and other yard clippings! I wasn’t planning on using this stuff for cannabis lol. Just the way it worked out : )

It's really the way to go. I have 4 raised beds. They are all 2' off the ground. Early last year I filled them 3 that were built with horto mix (10 yards all in). Funny thing. My Father showed up and was like ''why not throw all that shit you're tossing in the woods or burning into the bottom to save some money"? I guess eventually light dawns on marble head! Got smart on the 4th box.

That’s the way the Jade nectar guy does it! Weed wacks all the weeds early in the year and throws them into the beds!
