, it’s real hard to get motivated some days. Bought threw in the towel myself for the summer but then reality set in when I got to thinking how long it takes to get running again.
I’m glad you brought this up! I had the thought also : ) but was trying to talk myself out of it. But then I think I talked myself into it! And now reading this first thing today I’m absolutely going get things vegged early. So things won’t be completely shut down. My grow room is a real pain in the ass to keep cool this time of year. My house gets bombarded by the sun from noon to seven pm and the heat just radiates through the walls and windows. So once the ac’s are running it’s a balancing act trying to keep the house comfortable. I have two tents in flower right now both are off during the day and kick on at 6:30, and 7:30 pm . I still see high 80’s to mid 90’s sometimes. Only thing I have to my advantage is that I prefer growing sativa strains, and they’re more tolerant of heat.Feel ya on the shed life

Just adjust your lighting schedule for lights off during the hottest part of the day. I try not to have any lights running during the summer time from 12-6, or 1-7 . Those are usually the warmest times of the day.
I always lights on at night, that way I can save on ac, and see my ladies "all night long, all night"

All right my dudes. It is with much consideration and ganja and coffee and optimism beyond the moon I’ve decided to take the the finished plants and leave the unfinished. The unfinished are as follows, two HK’s x SFVog and NL86’, they have in my opinion, longer than a week to go, trying to let the currently close to being done plants express their true potency without the degraded sedative effect. The hks however if i had to guess are going to be leaning on the sativa side and would rather have that shit knock my ass out after a few hours of use.

Always good to see some hanging!the frostettes are down. The400w is down and the the 1000w is dropped down and lowered power wise over the hks and nl86. Im not going to give them the time i thought i was. Going to take them down by the end of the week no matter where they are : )
Im still going to run the lights at night just to see how that works. I’ll be making the switch tonight. They stay off until tomorrow right?
