Yeah I may buy bubble bags too though and give both a try, I tend to have a lot of bud on hand so why not make some rso and some bubble hash when I wanna hit a rig (not too often lol

But it’s 10am and I’m already on my 3rd cup of coffee, and 3rd joint I smoke pretty consistantly all day when I’m off

And I’ve been off for 9 days now and have 4 more to go lol

All this talk of hash has me asking myself why I don’t have a hash bar.

It’s not incredibly difficult to make your own. You just need a rice cooker. It’s basically the same process you follow to make a tincture, but reduced to just cannabis oil.
Step one decarboxylate your flower
Step two soak it in a high purity food grade alcohol like everclear for a couple weeks
Step three drain off alcohol into rice cooker, trying to get every last drop you can without getting any flower in the alcohol. (A french press works great)
Step four slowly cook off alcohol at a low setting until you have oil
Step five collect oil with syringes and store in dark cool dry place.
Step six administer a small dosage and develop a sense for potency

Yeah I’ve done it and I basically have downs lmaooo

I bought one for five bucks at goodwill, I would highly suggest taking the cheap route and not ruining an actual rice cooker from your own kitchen. If you employ a rice cooker in your kitchen at least.

I would think you would be better off having a trim party and getting those buds cleaned. In addition trimming is also a close inspection to look for bugs and rot and seeds.
My last run was too oily to grind. Went through 5 trimmers as I did not want to stop but after 20 minutes they would no longer spring open

I agree , trimmed bud is great and I see your perspective about inspecting the bud thoroughly, but sometimes with loads of plants, and very few friends who are on the level, maybe a quick cut might not be so bad. Especially if you take care of it when packing it into a grinder or something when it’s time to consume

I will confess to being a lazy trimmer. Most of the small single bladed sugar leaves stay. If I can see the stem poking out of the bud it gets cut.

I love that I came across this. I legit made an everclear tincture with 2 oz of decarbed bud, it’s been sitting the fridge for a months just had some yesterday. Most disgusting thing I’ve ever had. Lmaoooooo
I didn’t know what to do with it, I was gonna low key throw it away! Glad I found this. So basically I’m distillling the THC even further down into its oily compounds? Could you elaborate the slow cooking and transferring part please and thank you!

I do a lazy mans trim and just remove fan leaves sometimes. Then I will trim them if needed as I go through the jar for later use.

Yeah I been sleeping man! I was breaking some down this weekend rolling a little J-lo and there was some missed sugar leaves, I picked them off and put the nug into the grinder and I had a fucking Moment lolol
I was like damn Bern, you been trimming this whole time when you could have trimmed less and picked it at the time of breaking it down. #ThingsLearnedAlongTheWay lolol

I wet trim the top and mid buds and toss the lowers in a paper bag and make oil with them. I don’t always go crazy manicuring because I grow for me. And anyone who gets free bud won’t complain about free bud even if it looks like a Wookiee.

Summer of 99 South Park movie was in theaters, I was a recent graduate of the class of 99 , and Purple Jesus was the blotter. Tripped balls all day with my friend Nicole. Got caught in a pretty crazy thunderstorm a couple miles from the car at Maudslay state park in Newburyport.
Had a buddy join us after he got out of work and all three of us went to watch South Park movie at the theater and dropped more acid. After the movie we hit the coast. Found some dark rocks to sit at and smoke some weed staring out at the darkness of the ocean. All of a sudden the three of us are asking each other if they’re seeing what looks like a giant bright glowing sphere rising out of the sea! We were starting to really freak out thinking that there’s a gigantic spaceship coming out of the ocean and launching into the sky, our buddy Bj , who joined us later in the evening started to panic and was giving into the fear, subsequently having a bad trip. When all of a sudden, reality kicked back in for me. We had watched the moon rise.
But it didn’t matter, dude just kept giving into the fear and we had to call it a night.
Last thing I would do to someone having a bad trip is force them to do something that was bothering them.
So that’s the night I saw a huge spaceship rise out of the ocean with a head full of LSD. Good times.

Me and the Moon have had some fun times together on LSD. Am I the only one who looks at the moon and sees the image of a fetus? I blame LSD for that one. Saw that one time while tripping and I've never been able to unsee it.

When I hang it I don't clip shit, whole plant. Takes longer to dry but becomes a slower process which is a plus. Never be in a hurry to dry or cure, unless you're outta weed, then TEAR IT UP

I'll trim the big fans and separate the main stems before bagging and I've got like 10 gallon bags.

I don't trim until I smoke it. Sometimes I'll remove everything but most of the sugar leaves are full of trichs so hell, I roll it all up. I do screen for vapping.

Coconut coir and hydro nutes make pot grow big
