New grow, advise needed for SOG and defoliation.

Hello everyone. So usually i grow from clones for my bigger room and know when and what to do, but this is my first try to do it completely with seeds.
I have 99 PP. Germination went well, couple didn't survive but in general almost 100% success.
So few main questions i have. When should i swich to 12/12 for SOG? I have about 1.8 meters of space up but as you can see they are stacked side by side.
And the second question is when is it safe to defoliate (and maybe lolipop)? From what i gathered on Internet the best time would be twice within three weeks after i switch to 12/12. Is that correct?

Once they got stronger chucked them in their final pots. Had a rough start
(pretty hard to control environment when it's bigger than a tent), but they all bounced back pretty quickly

Nice work on the germination! For SOG, you usually want to flip to 12/12 when plants are around 20–30 cm tall since they’ll stretch during flower. With 1.8m of height, earlier is safer.
As for defoliation and lollipopping, yes, do it twice: once right before or just after the flip, then again around day 21 of flower. Keep it light and don’t stress them too much.

So flipping to 12/12 i should be looking at the size only? Do they need to have their sex established before switching or that doesn't matter?
By the way the 1.8meters space is just for plants, there's more room for the lights to go up

For SOG, you will want to switch to 12/12 about 5-7 days after veg. Just long enough to give them dryback and help them grow roots after transplanting.
But since you are starting from seed, give them 12/12 as soon as possible. Your plants will not start flowering until they are mature enough even if you give them 12/12.
