Let’s see what happens if we go on other two or three weeks! I wanted some goddamn purple! And I found out that if you push almost any plant to the brink of death, they will start turning purple! But the trikes were still cloudy! You get a lot of variation outdoors! growing this stuff is a gas!

Then put all this 2 1/2 month of bullshit behind and just sit out here and get to know the girls! Read them bedtime stories! Mother nature will stop by for a chat every once in a while! So I was reading your post. Interesting, I have some purple Maui Waui Real Oahu. It's very purple, I am growing it again this year as it was phenomenal. I can throw a few pictures up. Anywho the cold Colorado nights 48° to 54° low
and daytime temps of about 84°so far really seems to bring out the purple tricombs and bud colors.

Yeah, that’s some good looking weed! I don’t think you have to force it to get that color! That’s what I wanted to try! I had a feeling if you left it grow long enough you would achieve a kind of super senescence! And I wanted to see it! I left some of it until November 19! Which is pretty late for me, but most of it turned kind of black and purple! The Arcadian didn’t! Best I could get out of it was a little bit of blue tint in the bud! These were land races! I had already harvested the modern stuff! It wouldn’t go that long! Just playing with it! Having fun! Pretty mellow weather here! Hope you kill it again this year with that strain! love those purple trikes! I harvested some of this around the beginning of November when it was still green and just starting senescence with cloudy trikes! Then let it go three weeks longer and this is what it turns into! The look of death! Lol! But I think it benefits, land race if you have time to do it!

Gawd Oldchucky that's got to be a female it's too pretty to be a male. What a shame if it turns out to be though. Those inground grows sure get big quickly. Hellish hot and dry here like your place. My daughter an her friend left late last night for their home and will return on the 7th to finish up installing irrigation and timers all that stuff. It's gonna take me some getting use to. Why do young folks think automation is easier than manually hold a hose and sprinklers? They want me to get away more but i am becoming more content in staying around " the familiar " and they don't get that yet. Well i'll give this complex system a go and figure it out, they have to show me a couple times cause it's wierdly overwhelming for some reason. They'll understand that feeling also someday. I don't like big changes and learning like i use to. I got a feeling you feel the same way.
