Certified badasses,
In theory, it seems on the level.Introducing the MK-42 laminar flow tunnel. Overkill for some work, but I'm going to be mixing and pouring my own agar plates (way too hot to get pre-poured plates shipped). I'll be starting my 1st batch with swabs that I just received today (I caught them when they came, so no hot mailbox).
Once I (hopefully) get mycelium filling the agar plates, I'll cut 1cm wedges to transfer to wbs (5-6 wedges ea qt jar), then eventually make my own syringes, swabs and prints.
The drawing isn't quite right. the smaller tote will be on it's side with the bottom cut out and glued to the bigger tote. This will be both my laminar flow work area, and it'll double as an incubation chamber, simply by putting the lid on the smaller tote (it'll have 2" flow holes with micro cloth patches in the lid that will create positive pressure when closed).
Air provided by my 6" infinity blower will be pulled thru a carbon filter, go into the top of the big tote, thru the double hepa filter and out thru the smaller tote, providing a proper laminar flow tunnel work area. I'll be taking down my 4x4 tent, so this'll be perfect use for my infinitely 6" blower, controller and carbon filter.
@Captspaulding @Thatoneguyyouknow_ @anybody interested in mycology. Whatchu think, will it work?![]()

Mine will be here Tues@FloridaMike
This is what i use for my large solvent pulls. Its a beast but can swoop 100 ml. At a time. This is my rifle, there are many like it….
Just have to have a very steady when moving from jar to container. Its just sandblasted plunger no rubber.Mine will be here Tues![]()
Thats pretty cool when you see it.Damn, I spotted purple trichomes in one of my plants. I can't take photos with my microscope, but I just did an image search until I found something very similiar - identical even when it comes to the colored trichome heads:

The purple pheno of the Pineapple Poison, appears to be more on the indica side. Mellow and floaty high. I wish I could share some with you guys. Would love to hear your opinion. Maybe purple trichomes aren't that rare even, but it really looks awesome.
I was doin that on a spirograph in 1974.......3rd one is "Sound Spheres in 4D"
Me too! Pretty cool how things come "Full Circle" eh? (pun intended)I was doin that on a spirograph in 1974.......

100%! Cutting out N at after flip is always a disaster, same when I ran synthetics. If you Cut out N at flip you’ll be yellowed out somewhere around week 4 just after stretch and she uses up everything within her and it’ll be difficult to recover to swellGood call. It's a common misconception that cannabis doesn't need N during flowering. They use N throughout, just not as much during flowering.
Case in point, look at @Mikedin plants. All nice and lush green right up until harvest. That's bc his plants are using the plentiful N, that is available to them via his living soil.
The old GH formula was simple: Equal parts @ 200-400ppm for seedlings. Then, 3-parts N, 2-micro, 1-bloom, during veg and towards the end of stretch, then 1-N, 2-micro, 3-bloom, til the end. (Cal Mag and Super Thrive throughout as well)100%! Cutting out N at after flip is always a disaster, same when I ran synthetics. If you Cut out N at flip you’ll be yellowed out somewhere around week 4 just after stretch and she uses up everything within her and it’ll be difficult to recover to swell
That being said with synthetics it should be cut back (maybe to 1/2 what you where using in veg through stretch, then at end of stretch cut that to 1/4 what you used in veg, last 2-3 weeks is when I’d fully cut out, but that’s around where I’d also start pulling back in feed altogether and let em finish
Then once she’s N def it’s a downhill spiral of additional defs that’ll stack on… quickly
Liging soil is just a… game if it’s own, I see I wanna push more PK in mid flower to really help the dense up, the run was excellent but I know I can tweak when amendments get added to maximize potential of full breakdown at points the plants like it, easier said than done, unless you’re running clones and have it down but, I wanted to do it lol and it was fun can’t wait to start the tents back up this fall, finishing out rh e kahuna 2 in the 3x3 she’s about 10.5 weeks now
Mind you this is the 3x3 with the SE3000 in the full smart control tent, my lowest power / smallest tent and she’s in a 12 gallon pot (same living soil as the 30 gallon bags in the other tents but I.. tweaked it a bit)
You're spot on about the N and living soil being a different ball game. Before you tweak anything, you should see how the result is. I'm sure the taste and overall quality will make up for alot of other "shortcomings".100%! Cutting out N at after flip is always a disaster, same when I ran synthetics. If you're pumping N all through veg isn't there some residual bank of it in the soil eventually? I mean how efficient are soil root systems I guess is the question...100%! Yeah in this case it must come from the Pineapple by Ed Rosenthal. Perhaps some Durban Poison can also get purple, never heard about it though. Purple Thai would also be sick as fuck! Spidey senses weed for those close quarters jungle operationsThats pretty cool when you see it.
Purple skunk,
And purple thai will bring those as well.
Good job.
Id def love to burn some of your hard earned purps with ya, it would be a damned honor.
I have a thing for purps too.
Its jusy shexy herb![]()
